    A-Team. The A-Team consisted of Hannibal played by George Peppard of 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' fame; Dirk Benedict as 'Faceman' the smooth-talking ladies man; Dwight Schultz as the madcap Murdoch and Mr T as B.A. Baracus - "I ain't getting on no plane, Fool!"

B: 'The B____' was a long-running police show on British television?
    Bill. Many young British actors and actresses have played small parts on 'The Bill' as victims or perpetrators of crime. They then go off to bigger and better things (though many then return to 'The Bill' as police personnel). It's something of a coming-of-age moment for British thespians! The show first aired in 1983.

C: In what 'C' sitcom were the family named: Cliff, Clair, Sondra, Denise, Theo, Vanessa, and Rudy Huxtable?
    Cosby. Created by and starring Bill Cosby, 'The Cosby Show' ran for 8 seasons and charted the lives of the five children as they grew up and the worries of Cliff Huxtable that the kids would never leave home!

    Dynasty. Running throughout the 80s this was 'Dallas' without the stetsons. The story revolved around Blake Carrington (John Forsythe) his wife Krystle (Linda Evans) and his ex-wife and mother of his first four children, Alexis (Joan Collins).

E: This comedienne starred in her own show as a book store owner with a disasterous love life. (This might have been due to the fact she spent the first three series dating guys and only in the fourth season did both character and comedienne come out as being gay.) The show was originally entitled 'These Friends of Mine' but is better known for just the lead actress's name. What 'E' is this?
    Ellen. The episode where Ellen came out was entitled 'Puppy'. K.D. Lang, Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore all guest starred in it. The episode won an Emmy.

F: In the order of: Mother, eldest son, younger son, daughter, what are the names of the Fisher family in 'Six Feet Under'?
    Ruth, Nate, David, Claire. 'Six Feet Under' takes a blackly comic look at the dysfunctional family life of the Fishers and the difficulties in running the family funeral home after the father of the house dies.

G: What 'G' is the surname of the actor who plays Tony Soprano in 'The Sopranos'?
    Gandolfini. James Gandolfini has had small parts in 'True Romance', 'The Mexican', '8mm' and 'Fallen' but it is his starring role as Mafia boss Tony Soprano that has really brought him his well-deserved fame.

H: In the series 'Airwolf' what hi-tech form of transport was 'Airwolf'?
    Helicopter. This series was created by the same guy who came up with 'Magnum, P.I.'.

I: Which television Inspector drives a classic Jaguar Mk II, has a sidekick called Lewis and mostly operates in Oxford?
    Morse. 'Inspector Morse' was first aired in 1997. The last show went out in 2000. John Thaw, who played the irascible Inspector died of cancer in 2002.

J: If my friends were called Zippy, George and Bungle, who would I be? (Hint: The show was called 'Rainbow'.)
    Jeffrey. Jeffrey was the human star of the British children's TV show 'Rainbow'. George was a pink hippopotamous, Bungle was a bear and Zippy was an unidentifiable creature who talked too much and had a zip to close his mouth. The show ran for twenty years.

K: Telly Savalas was the eponymous lolly-pop sucking, bald lieutenant in what 'K'?
    Kojak. 'Kojak' was a popular 70s cop show set in New York.

L: "So no-one told you L____ was gonna be this way..." What 'L' fills in the blank of the 'Friends' theme tune?
    Life. The theme tune 'I'll Be There For You' is sung by The Rembrandts.

M: What 1970s 'M' show starring Robin Williams taught us that on the planet Ork the word for 'goodbye' was 'nanoo nanoo'?
    Mork and Mindy. Mork is an alien sent to earth to investigate and report back on human behaviour to his superiors. He lodges with Mindy, a human woman.

N: 'Beverly Hills, __________'. What number completes this show's title?
    nine oh two one oh. 'Beverly Hills, 90210' was the 90s precursor of 'The O.C.' (i.e. it followed the lives and loves of a bunch of teenagers in California). The show launched the careers of Luke Perry and Jason Priestley amongst others. It also starred Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling.

O: What 'O' is a family whose lives have been made into a reality-based show with a theme song that begins: "Crazy, but that's how it goes..."?
    Osbournes. The show follows the wacky lives of the wacky Osbourne family. Ozzy (father) was born in Birmingham, England and was formerly lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath.

P: 'Blue P_____'. What name beginning with 'P' completes the title of a long-running British children's entertainment programme?
    Peter. Another classic British TV programme. 'Blue Peter' was first aired in October 1958.

Q: What 'Q' is the name of the crime-solving medical examiner?
    Quincy. Quincy was played by Jack Klugman on the show that ran for 8 seasons. Quincy was forever finding the clue that everybody else had missed and thereby solving the case.

R: Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo. What 'R' was the fourth turtle character in 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'?
    Raphael. After a radioactive incident in the sewers of New York, four harmless turtles are transformed into strange human/turtle creatures. They are taught their ninja skills by a Japanese man who was turned into a giant rat, Master Splinter, in the same incident.

S: 'The S________ Life of Us' is a brilliant Australian drama viewed from the perspective of one character who is writing a novel about their lives. What 'S' is this?
    Secret. This brilliant drama series was first aired in 2001. It has an excellent writing team and great cast (only a few of who you'd recognise from the not-quite-so-fabulous Aussie soaps like 'Neighbours' or 'Home and Away').

T: What 'T' is the word that follows 'nip' in an American series centred around the home and work lives of two plastic surgeons?
    tuck. 'Nip/Tuck' is set in Florida but of the three main characters who play Americans, only one actually is; Dylan Walsh who plays the uptight surgeon Sean McNamara. Joely Richardson who plays his wife Julia is from London, England, while Julian McMahon who plays smooth-talking Christian is actually from Sydney, Australia and starred in 'Home and Away' in 1990-91.

U: James Marsters (Spike, from 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'), Anthony Stewart Head (Giles from 'Buffy') and Jane Leeves (Daphne from 'Frasier') come from what sides of the Pond respectively?
    U.S., U.K., U.K.. Marsters is originally from California. Both Head and Leeves are from London, England. Anthony Stewart Head gave James Marsters coaching lessons for his English accent for his role as Spike.

V: 'All Creatures Great and Small' was a comedy drama series set in 1940s Yorkshire about a young 'V' named James Herriot and his co-workers. What 'V' was he?
    Vet. This was one of those classic BBC shows that airs on a Sunday evening.

W: Another question on TV families. What 'W' was the TV series about three generations of a family who lived on a mountain in Virginia during the Depression and World War II. It is narrated by the oldest son, John-Boy, who wants to become a novelist. Some of his siblings' names are: Jim-Bob, Mary-Ellen, Erin and Jason?
    The Waltons. The show was created by Earl Hammer Jnr and was based on his life growing up. The family consisted of Grand-pa Zebulon and Grand-ma Esther, Olivia and John were Ma and Pa, five boys: John-Boy, Jason, Ben, Jim-Bob and Joseph (Jim-Bob's twin brother who died at birth) and three girls: Mary-Ellen, Erin and Elizabeth.

X: Who is a 'Warrior Princess'?
    Xena. Xena has to fight bad guys in order to redeem herself for her dark past. Xena starred Lucy Lawless in the title role.

Y: Which animated 'Y' lives in Jellystone Park, has a best friend called Boo Boo and a tendency towards picnic basket kleptomania?
    Yogi Bear. This cartoon was a Hanna-Barbera classic, first aired in 1958.
