In chapter sixteen, "Diana Is Invited To Tea With Tragic Results," Anne was supposed to give Diana raspberry cordial, what did she give her instead?

    Currant wine. In this chapter, the ever troubled Anne invites Diana to tea. She has never had raspberry cordial before, and doesn't know that she has in fact, accidentally given Diana Marilla's prize winning currant wine! This little escapade in turn gets Anne forbidden from associating with Diana!

In the chapter entitled "Anne's Impressions of Sunday School," what is it that Anne does at Sunday school that causes such a sensation?
    Puts fresh flowers on her hat. As Marilla does not go to church due to a headache, Anne walks by herself. On the way she stops and wreaths her hat with buttercups and wild roses. Later Mrs. Lynde informs Marilla of Anne's unusual decorations, which has become the favored topic of conversation amongst the Avonlea parish!

Anne, Diana, Ruby and Jane are pretending to be in Camelot, when a rather unfortunate incident arises. Which character does Diana pretend to be?
    Lancelot. "Well I'll be Elaine, Ruby, you must be King Arthur and Jane will be Guinevere and Diana must be Lancelot" said Anne. Unfortunately the "flat" which they floated Anne out into the lake in, sprung a leak and sunk, leaving Anne clinging to a pole, from which she was rescued by Gilbert.

In the chapter "The Reaper Whose Name is Death," what had Matthew been doing before he died?
    Reading a paper. "...Matthew standing in the porch doorway, a folded paper in his hand, and his face strangely drawn and gray." The doctor who pronounced him dead said that his death was probably brought about by shock. In the paper he had been reading was a report of the collapse of the Abbey Bank, which he had always banked with.

Who dared Anne to walk the ridgepole of the Barry's roof?
    Josie Pye. After Josie succesfully completed Anne's dare to walk a board fence, Anne claimed to know a girl in Marysville who could walk a roof ridgepole. Josie then dared her to walk the Barry's ridgepole. It was rather less than succesful and Anne fell and injured her ankle.

What quality did Anne possess that made Mrs. Blewett think she would be a good worker?
    She was "wiry". "Humph! You don't look as if there was much to you. But you're wiry. I don't know but the wiry ones are the best after all." Mrs. Blewett was looking for an orphan to look after her large family.

How did Mr. Phillips punish Anne for being late for class?
    Made her sit next to Gilbert Blythe. As a punishment in the chapter entitled "A Tempest in the School Teapot" Anne was made to sit next to her enemy Gilbert Blythe. The class had been warned not to be late back.

Where was the orphanage that Anne was in before she came to Green Gables?
    Hopetown. Mrs. Alexander Spencer picked up two orphans from the orphan asylum in Hopetown and brought them back on the boat. She kept one for herself, the other was supposed to be a boy for the Cuthberts, but was actually Anne.

How old is Anne when she comes to Green Gables?
    Eleven. "I was eleven last March."

With whom did Anne walk home at the end of the last chapter in the book, called "The Bend in the Road?"
    Gilbert Blythe. Anne finally forgave him for calling her "carrots" years before. They stayed talking at the gate for half an hour.
