The star was awarded for operational flying over Europe from UK bases between 3 September 1939 and 4 June 1944.

Answer: 3

There are three: the North Africa, the 8th Army, and the 1st Army clasps.
4. What clasps can be awarded with (or in addition to) an air crew Europe recipient?

Answer: Atlantic or France and Germany
