    'Saratoga Trunk'. A great black and white classic with some great cinematography.

    'The Day the Bookies Wept'. A hilarious comedy of the golden years.

A 1939 classic starring Anne Shirley, James Ellison and Barbara Read, about a grocer's daughter who dates a football hero and joins a snooty sorority?
    'Sorority House'. Actually the movie reminds me of those old 50's school films about science and health.

A 1948 film starring Pat O'Brien, Daryl Hickman and Charles Kemer, about an Irish priest who shepherds street-wise newsboys in early 1900's St.Louis?
    'Fighting Father Dunne'. Story reminds me of the story of 'Boys Town' and Father O'Malley.

A 1949 suspense flick starring Orson Welles, Joseph Cotten and Trevor Howard, about a pulp writer who goes to postwar Vienna and probes the death of a shady friend?
    'The Third Man'. The movie was directed by Carol Reed.

    'It's Only Money'. Another Jerry Lewis classic.
