When the Stooges are cleaning up the apartment, who makes the bed?

Larry. Larry has an easy enough time putting the sheet in place, but when he tries to put the Murphy bed away, it falls back down and traps him underneath it.

Who has to put on glasses to perform one of their chores?

Shemp. They're re-covering the davenport. Shemp is going to hammer the nails in and says he needs his glasses to do this right. After he hammers the nail into Moe's hand, he says he can't get used to these "bicycle-focals".

What does Moe accidentally put on his face while he's shaving?

Shoe polish. Shemp is in the bathroom polishing his shoes and sets the mug of polish down beside Moe's shaving cream mug. Moe is lathering his face and Shemp takes the brush from him. After being ordered by Moe to put the brush down, Shemp puts it down accidentally in the shoe polish mug. Moe reaches for the brush without looking, continues "lathering" his face, and then notices what has happened. He calls Shemp over and Shemp gets the shaving brush in the mouth. Moe apologizes and offers Shemp something to drink because he's coughing. When Shemp realizes that he has taken a big swig of shoe polish, he draws back to punch Moe and Moe hits him and makes him spit the polish out right in Moe's face. Shemp says he'll take care of him, gets his polishing rag and begins polishing Moe's face. This took less time to occur in the short than it took me to explain what happened. You'll just have to see it for yourself.

Who arrives at Mabel's apartment first?

Larry. Larry takes off five vests and then unlocks his pocket to remove the ring box. The stone is so small that when he tells Mabel to open her eyes and look at it, he has a magnifying glass in front of it.

What does Mabel say to each one after she asks them to come in?

I knew you were coming, so I baked a cake. She baked a very large cake which she presents to each one when they come in.

Where is Moe carrying his ring for Mabel?

On his toe. When he comes in, Mabel asks why he has a bell on his finger. He says he has bell on his finger, and ring on his toe.

What does Shemp give Mabel besides a ring?

A photo of himself. She grimaces as she looks at it and puts it on the side table. Her cat sees the picture, fluffs up, and then growls at it.

Who gets the cake in the face?

Mabel. Larry, Moe and Shemp have started fighting and Shemp picks up the cake to throw it at Moe. Mabel calls out "Don't you dare", Moe ducks and the cake hits Mabel in the kisser.

Who does Mabel hit over the head?

Shemp. After Mabel changed her clothes and washed the cake off of her face, she is ready to leave. Shemp has aided Larry and Moe in knocking each other out and steps over to Mabel. She takes the fireplace scoop and hits him over the head with it, says "So long, suckers", and leaves.

Who played Mabel?

Connie Cezan. Connie Cezan appeared in a total of five Three Stooges shorts, including "Rusty Romeos", which was a remake of "Corny Casanovas" with Joe Besser instead of Shemp Howard. The ending was a little different in "Rusty Romeos".
