Special Sub-Topic: "Counter-Strike" Hacks & Cheats
Which of the following is NOT an OGC Tweak?
M@W 2.0 X. M@W 2.0 X is, as the X may have suggested, a tweak of |L|IQUI[D] X; all the others are OGC tweaks (with mOtO being the most infamous of the three).
What is the name of the "enemy" that all "hooks" will attack?
VAC. VAC is VALVe Anti-Cheat. This is what detects cheats upon their activation on secure servers. "Hooks" basically latch onto VAC and disable it. HLG is HLGuard, a rather poor detector of cheats; most aimbots (hook or client) will try to elude this. The other two choices are obviously not targets.
The "camhack" script that is part of the "skinhack" cheat will work on every map.
False. While skinhack, if used correctly will work on every map, only SOME maps will default to camhack, which is the teleporting around the map at regular intervals. How can one tell? When the map loads, look for the camera to move around, like on de_dust or cs_assault. Maps that simply show an always-stationary view upon loading, such as cs_italy, will utilize only the skinhack.
Since the discontinuation of LTFX, Ltfxguy has returned to the CS cheating community. His new hack is supposedly called what?
Emotion. Yes, believe it or not, his new hack is going to be called Emotion, or Emo for short. The other names are simply phony.
What hack was released toward the end of Version 1.5 that was rumored to be a good VAC proof hack, only to turn out to be a complete dud that did nothing?
Y.A.S.H.. The infamous Y.A.S.H. hack frustrated many in that, when double-clicked, it did absolutely nothing but load some cheesy intro screen. LTFX 4.7 was a working hack (surprisingly NOT coded by Ltfxguy), and the others were made up.
Which has not been one of the top hacks for 'Counter-Strike' 1.6?
CSCodes. CSCodes was a cheat for 'CS' 1.5. The other three have been the most popular cheats.
Which hack evolved into RageOGL, which then evolved into RaGe-Xtreme?
OC Cheat. OC Cheat was coded by some of the original Rage clan members. It was nearly identical to early versions of RageOGL. XQZ and Liquid were other cheats, and RageHook was a bogus answer.
LTFX 4.1 had a wallhack? (XQZ, ASUS, etc.)
False. LTFX 4.1 did NOT have a wallhack, per se. While it had wonderful sound-based player names through wall, it had nothing that made the walls transparent in any way (such as ASUS, XQZ, Wireframe, etc.).
Which of the following is NOT a frequently used command in the creation of aimbot vectors?
avrecoil. Avclear clears out the current aimbot vecs. Avadd lists a new aiming vector via four variables (position of enemy, height, depth, and "right"). Txt is used to announce which vec has been selected. Avrecoil is not a valid command.
What is the name exclusively used for people who simply download CS cheats without making ANY contributions (aim vecs, separate cheats, tweaks) or learning about the hacks?
Script Kiddie. Script kiddie is used exclusively to describe these people. While I myself have not contributed any tweaks or cheats, I am not a script kiddie in that I have created aim vecs (DaNVecZ). Noob is used very broadly in CS. Idle User is bogus, and Hacksore is simply a creative way to spell h4x0r.
