"Forrest Gump" was one of, if not the best, movies of all time. The movie won six awards, including one for Best Picture, Director, and Actor. Tom Hanks picked up his accent for this movie from Michael Humphreys, who played Forrest when he was younger. Robin Wright Penn was not nominated for an Oscar, but was nominated for both a Golden Globe and the Screen Actor's Guild Awards, failing to win either. Tom Hanks won back to back Oscars for his role as Forrest and in the movie "Philadelphia" in 1994.
