    Lectronimo. In this episode, Jane, Elroy, and Judy wanted to keep Astro (who appeared for the first time in this episode), but George didn't want him. George decided to get a robotic dog called Lectronimo for his family, but his family didn't want the robotic dog. A contest was pitched, and whoever won the contest would get to live with the Jetsons. Unfortunately for Astro, Lectronimo won the contest. Astro was allowed to stay until the following morning, but in the middle of the night, a burglar came to the Jetsons and Astro saved the family and captured the burglar. This is how Astro won his place with the Jetsons.

The original Lassie was a female in the movie "Lassie Come Home." However, during the making of the movie, the female refused to cross the raging river. A man on the set named Rudd Weatherwax happened to have a male who was not afraid of anything. That dog was named Pal, and it was Pal who finished the movie and received the credit for the entire movie. It was also Pal who starred in the television series "Jeff's Collie." All Lassies are descendants of Pal.

In "Lady and the Tramp", what type of dog is Lady?
    Cocker Spaniel. Tramp is a mutt. There was also a sequel to this, about their son, Scamp.

In the "Brady Bunch," what was the name of their dog?
    Tiger. Tiger lasted well into the first season, that is until, in real life, he was hit by a pizza delivery truck on his nightly outing. The next day, the owner of Tiger went from pound to pound in search of a lookalike and finally found one. However, there was a fatal flaw with the new dog...it couldn't act. Eventually, the dog was cut from all scripts, but was mentioned once in a while. The Brady girls, Marcia, Jan, and Cindy also had a cat named Fluffy; but she was only seen in the first episode.
