What is Dr. Bradd's profession?

    physician. Dr. Bradd is a physician (FACETS SHINE), and a responsible one at that, seeing as how he was careful not to fuel the illicit diamond trade by purchasing conflict diamonds.

While looking for a new pack of cards in the game store, Shelly came across a rather unique pyramid deck. But before she could complete the purchase, the clerk suddenly collapsed. Shelly, being suitably trained for such situations, promptly administered first aid. What is Shelly's profession?
    paramedic. Shelly's training as a paramedic (PYRAMID DECK) allowed her to appropriately assess the situation and deliver the appropriate care.

Having done his research, Phil dropped by the local health food store to pick up some vegetarian based estrogen products. "They're for my sis", he explained, when the clerk eyed him quizzically. What is Phil's profession?
    pharmacist. Phil's store did not carry vegetarian based products. Being a pharmacist (FOR MY SIS), he was able to easily identify suitable alternatives at the health food store for his vegetarian sister, who was starting estrogen replacement therapy.

Never truly on vacation, Dr. Barnes stopped in to treat one of the other resort guests, who earlier happened to have stepped on a sea urchin at the beach. The good doctor was careful to remove the pedicellaria, a simple task for him given his medical background. What is Dr. Barnes' profession?
    surgeon. A pedicellaria is a small pincer-like structure, which the urchin uses for cleaning and for capturing smaller prey. If left in the wound, it can lead to irritation and infection. It's a very simple procedure for Dr. Barnes, a surgeon (SEA URCHIN). In fact, anyone else could have done it just as easily. Dr. Barnes applied shaving cream to the area and scraped across gently with a razor to remove the offending fragment.

Anna was excited to finally arrive at her winter cabin. This weekend away from it all would be a welcome respite from her demanding schedule as part of the surgical team. Opening the door, Anna sneezed the old lodge dust and realized just how long it had been since she'd taken a holiday. What is Anna's profession?

In preparation for his job interview at Vision International, and hoping to make a good impression, Carl set his alarm earlier than usual and woke up to shine his shoes. What is Carl's profession?
    optician. Carl is a trained optician (UP TO SHINE). As such, he hoped to get a job selling eyeglasses and contact lenses at the very reputable Vision International, an optical retailer.

Spencer, who has a penchant for using large words (a habit for which he undoubtedly has a very detailed explanation), travels whenever he gets the chance. Said Spencer regarding his travel experience: "Much to my chagrin, it invariably exacts a toll on my circadian cycle. I just cannot seem to inure myself appropriately to transmeridian peregrination". What is Spencer's profession?
    psychologist. Spencer, a psychologist (CYCLE I JUST), is always looking for the meaning behind behavior. His sesquipedalian predilection has been a subject for self-exploration, and he's often wondered what his particular aversion toward obviously preferable diminutive analogues rests upon.

Thomas was a fighter pilot in the Air Force, where he earned himself the nickname "Fly-boy Tom". These days, Thomas works in the medical field, after certifying top in his class. He's a hard worker and really good at what he does, so everyone knew he needed a break when "Fly-boy Tom" missed. So he decided to take his Cessna out for a spin. What is Thomas' profession?
    phlebotomist. Thomas is an expert phlebotomist (FLY-BOY TOM MISSED). He's usually spot on, so when he misses a routine venipuncture, his co-workers know he needs to take some time off to refuel.
