    Kîlauea. Kîlauea is known to be the youngest volcano in Hawaii. The Kilauea volcano was formed in 1790 A.D. Many documentaries have been published focusing on Hawaii's volcanoes. Kîlauea is also believed to be the most active and dangerous volcano in Hawaii.

Pele is the daughter of whom?
    Haumea and Kane Milohai. Haumea and Kane Milohai are the parents of Pele; together they had thirteen children.

Who is Pele's eldest brother?
    Kamohoali'i. Kamohoali'i is Pele's oldest brother and is the king of sharks. They share a special bond together which involved building a canoe that allowed Pele to travel and later settle in Hawaii.

Is Pele able to use her special powers in order to transform?
    Y. Pele has the power to change into just about anything. According to Hawaiian mythology, Pele may appear young, old or even as an animal. It's also known that Pele would come begging for food or water and the selfish and greedy would be punished.

    Pele's armpit. Hi'iake's birth was unique as it gets. She was hatched from an egg carried by Pele. Hi'iake is the goddess of hula, a recognized traditional dance of Hawaii.

    T. The story behind this is very awkward. In order to rescue Pele from being raped further, Kapo attacked Kams-pua'a with her kohe lele (female reproductive organs).

    Childbirth. Pele's mother in the Hawaiian goddess of childbirth. Haumea also has a planet named after her. Eventually Haumea was killed by Kaulu for unknown reasons.

Some individuals say people were often sacrificed and tossed into Pele's lava. This is considered a myth due to lack of evidence.
