Special Sub-Topic: Jack Black Movie Mixture

Who played Black's close friend in 'Shallow Hal' (2001)?

Jason Alexander. Alexander played a similarly shallow guy, with a little secret (he had a tail!).

Jack Black has a supporting role in 'Johnny Skidmarks' (1998). The lead role is played by Peter Gallagher, a character who does what for money?
He photographs rich people in seedy motels for blackmailers.. His problems begin when the blackmailers start to turn up dead, and he wonders if he's also on the list of targets.

Who plays the femme fatale in 'Saving Silverman' (2001) from whom Black and buddy Steve Zahn try to...um...save Silverman (played by Jason Biggs)?
Amanda Peet. Peet plays Biggs' new girlfriend, but she's bringing about changes that the guys don't like, so they decide to take matters into their own hands.

What did Black's character sell in 'The Jackal' (1997)?
weapon paraphernalia. Bruce Willis came to him to get a particularly effective gun, but he decided to test its potency on Black. Too bad, really, as he was a fairly compelling character in this face-off between Willis and Richard Gere.

Black had a small role in 'Bio-Dome' (1996). Who were the two stars of this idiotic movie?
Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin. The movie depicts what happens when these two fools get stuck in the Bio-Dome for a year, trying to prove to the girlfriends who dumped them that they care about the environment. The movie is your pretty basic Pauly Shore fare.

In 'The Cable Guy' (1996), Black plays Matthew Broderick's best friend. Broderick is plagued by Jim Carrey's frighteningly obsessive cable man. In one scene, Carrey takes Broderick out to dinner and they end up participating in the evening's entertainment. What do they do?
joust. They eat at Medieval Times and get chosen to participate in the evening's 'festivities'.

'Enemy of the State' (1998) stars Will Smith as a lawyer who mistakenly becomes a government target. He is pursued by NSA Director Jon Voight and aided by Gene Hackman. A host of promising young actors, including Jack Black, play members of the NSA helping to track Smith's character. Who is NOT one of the actors playing an NSA agent?
Jason Lee. Jason Lee was in the movie, but he played a college buddy of Smith's who marked him as a target when he slipped him some sensitive material (unbeknownst to Smith).

Black costars as Colin Hanks' embarrassing brother in 'Orange County' (2002). What college was Hanks' character trying to get into?
Stanford. He had his heart set on Stanford, and should have been able to get in, except that his guidance counselor mixed things up and sent in the wrong information. Black then helps him on his mission for acceptance.

Black had a supporting role in 'Jesus' Son' (1999), a film about a man who reforms his druggie ways in the 1970s. Who plays the lead?
Billy Crudup. Crudup is one of my favorite actors. Other cast members include Samantha Morton, Denis Leary, Holly Hunter, and Dennis Hopper.

Considered by many to be Black's 'big break' film, 'High Fidelity' stars John Cusack as a record store owner who is suffering from romantic ineptitude. Black plays one of two cashiers who can't be gotten rid of. What was the name of the record store?
Championship Vinyl. The movie was based on the novel by Nick Hornby, and the record store that serves as a catalyst for much of the story is named Championship Vinyl.
