    The Final Solution. Total extermination of the Jewish population was discussed, as well as methods to achieve this. Although Hitler was not there, many high ranking Nazi's were. During the Nuremberg trials after the war, most said yes they were there, but didn't remember the reason, or even the discussion. Selective amnesia, I guess.

On January 20th, 1966, this Boston Red Sox player-one of the true greats- was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Who was he?
    Ted Williams. Williams was the last major league player to have a 400 batting average. He played 19 years for the Sox. He also joined the Marines during WW2- his peak playing years, and became an aviator. He flew along side John Glenn, but never made it to combat. He died in 2002.

On January 20th, the American hostages were released from captivity in Iran. What year was it?
    1981. Just as Ronald Reagan took the oath of office, the Iranian government released the Americans it had held. They were held for 444 days.
