God is all-knowing so he actually knew us before he even created the world. The word for being all-knowing is omniscient.

There was three different Pashur's mentioned in the book of Jeremiah. The other two are Pashur the son of Malchiah, and Pashur the father of Gedaliah. However, Wikipedia.com says that the son of Immer may be the same Pashur as the father of Gedaliah, but it is not certain.

Hananiah's name means "gracious". He was a false prophet. It is important to be careful whom you listen to, as some people may be false prophets and therefore dangerous to listen to.

The Moabites fought a lot with the Israelites. The capital of Moab was Dibon.
