China can be divided into seven parts: Northeast China, North China, Subtropical East Central China, Tropical South China, Inner Mongolian Grassland, Northwest China, and the Tibetan Plateau. The Da Hinggan Ling mountains are in western Northeast China and they have peaks reaching up to 1,400 metres which is approximately equal to 4,500 feet!
