When Lucille was introduced to Desi n the ste of "Dance, Giurl, Dance", by George Abbott (he was the producer of the then Broadway musical "Too Many Girls") she wasn't exactly at her best -- she had a make-up black eye for her role in the movie! Lucy and Desi subsequently appeared together in the film version of "Too Many Girls".

What was the date of Lucille and Desi's marriage?
    November 30, 1940. A few weeks before their marriage, Lucille and Desi sat in a restaurant, discussing all the reasons they could never get married. In 1949, they renewed their wedding vows.

What was the name of Lucille and Desi's ranch that they lived on for the majority of the marriage?
    Desilu. They later named their television production company Desilu, as well.

What were the names of Lucille and Desi's two children?
    Lucie and Desi IV. When Lucille found that she was pregnant with her second child, Desi IV (aka as Desi Jr.), she and Desi thought that this would be the end of their television venture, "I Love Lucy." After all, no one had ever appeared pregnant on television -- such things were not supposed to be announced to the world. But Jess Oppenheimer, the executive producer of "I Love Lucy," had an idea: why not make Lucy Ricardo, the character whom Lucille portrayed, pregnant, also? The idea was successful. The episode of "I Love Lucy" when Lucy Ricardo had her baby had more viewers than the televised inauguration of President Eisenhower. Desi IV's father was Desiderio Alberto "desi" Arnaz III, so their son was Desi IV.

What did Lucille consider to be her most vital make-up article?
    Eyebrow pencil. In her autobiography, "Love, Lucy," Lucille reveals that she had to have her eyebrows shaved off for a role in a movie. Her eyebrows never completely grew back, so she relied on an eyebrow pencil to give them some definition.

Lucille and Desi were divorced in 1960, but Lucille remarried in 1961. Who did she get married to?
    Gary Morton & Morton. Lucille tried hard to make their marriage last, but her husband was cheating on her and she could not stand to be with him any longer. She died on April 26, 1989, but her legacy lives on.
