    1921. Established under the name Lyngby Boldklub, which was changed to Lyngby FC in 1994.

    Jorn Terkelsen & terkelsen. Jorn Terkelsen owned about half the stocks himself. On board also was former Danish national player John Helt, which means 'John the Hero' in Danish.

In 1990 Lyngby beat AGF in the Danish cup final. What was the score?
    6-1. The game was actually a replay. The first final was the most boring ever {seen;} after 120 minutes, neither of the teams had even had a chance! The second final was obviously more entertaining. Among Lyngby's goal scores was the Danish hero of Euro 1992, Henrik Larsen.

    1960. Until then they had been playing in the league of Zealand, equivalent to the part time divisions in Britain.

    Torben Frank. Torben Frank had a very difficult career. First, he was a great striker at Brondby's great team in 1989-1991, then he got seriously injured. Then he was very successive with Lyngby, was selected for the Danish Euro 1992 team, got sold to Olympique Lyon, got injured again, and had to end his computer.

What was the official capacity of Lyngby Stadium?
    10000. Including only 1500 seats. The stadium had for many years been called 'the worst in the country', but the club had not been able to finance an improvement. It was founded in 1949, and did not have floodlights until 1964.

Which Danish national striker played for Lyngby until he transfered to Pisa in Italy in 1984?
    Klaus Berggreen & Berggreen. Berggreen was one of the stars of the Danish team, which had great success in the mid-80's. Together with Laudrup and Elkjaer he was a part of one of the most dangerous offensive forces in Europe. In 1985 he scored goal number 1000 for the national team.

Who was team coach the last four seasons until Lyngby went bankrupt?
    Poul Hansen. Many experts consider Poul Hansen as one of the best Danish coaches currently. After the bankruptcy he got a job in Farum Boldklub as the 'sports director' of the club.

What's the name of Lyngby FC's fan club?
    Blue Vikings. Named after the viking in the club logo. Vikings were fierce warriors around the year 1000 from Scandinavia, and are still looked upon as great national symbols of will and manpower.
