    He pardons Sesto and Vitellia after they tried to murder him.. "La Clemenza di Tito" was composed for the coronation of Emperor Leopold II as king of Bohemia in Prague on September 6 1791.

In "Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail", are Belmonte, Pedrillo and their lovers caught while escaping?
    y. When the lovers meet to escape, the men start doubting the faithfulness of their women, a theme that comes back in "Cosi fan tutte".

    A merciful ruler. Tito forgives Sesto and Vitellia; Bassa Selim lets Belmonte and the other three go, even though Belmonte is his arch enemy's son.

    When he sees her portrait. After seeing her portrait there is nothing that Tamino would rather do than rescuing Pamina.

In "Die Zauberflote", who tells who to kill who?
    The Queen of the Night tells Pamina to kill Sarastro. Pamina doesn't do it. Papageno does think about killing himself, but isn't told to do it by Papagena. He wants to kill himself because he thinks he's lost her.

In "Cosi fan Tutte", who is engaged to Fiordiligi at the beginning of the opera?
    Guglielmo. Ferrando is engaged to Dorabella, Fiordiligi's sister.

In "Cosi fan Tutte", with whom does Fiordiligi end up, at the end of the opera?
    All of these, depending on the production (Ferrando, Guglielmo, No one). Disguised as a foreigners, Ferrando courts Fiordiligi and Guiglielmo Dorabella. When all comes out, everybody is confused. In some productions the pairs return to their original lovers, in other productions the people are paired with their new lovers. In the two productions I've seen the ending is left open and therefore Fiordiligi ends up with no one.

In "Don Giovanni", who sees through the charming villain (Don Giovanni), immediately?
    Masetto. Masetto seems to be the least intelligent one, but he saw the falsehood in Don Giovanni from the start. Later he lets himself be deceived by the Don, who is dressed up as Leporello.

In "Don Giovanni" in which order did the Don (try to) seduce the women?
    Donna Elvira, Donna Anna, Zerlina, Donna Elvira's maid. Donna Elvira and Zerlina definitely fall for him, but only with Elvira he wins the girl.

For which characters does "Don Giovanni" have a happy ending?
    Masetto and Zerlina. Don Giovanni goes to hell. Elvira, loving Don Giovanni till the end, retires to a convent. Donna Anna wants to mourn her father and postpones the wedding with Ottavio. Leporello has to find a new master, but he doesn't seem to be too unhappy about this, so maybe a happy ending for him also.

In "Le Nozze di Figaro", who is in love with Susanna?
    All of these (Count Almaviva, Cherubino, Figaro). Cherubino is in love with every woman, but his favourite is the countess, for whom he sings the famous song "Voi che sapete". He hits on Susanna in act I. Susanna only loves Figaro!

In "Le Nozze di Figaro", what is the Countess's first name?
    Rosina. The count calls her Rosina in act II. He wants to sooth her after he falsely accused her of committing adultery. In "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" of which the story of "Le Nozze" is a sequel, the Count of Almaviva marries Rosina in the end.

In "Le Nozze di Figaro", who is discovered to be the father of Figaro?
    Don Bartolo of whom Marcellina is the housekeeper. His mother is found out to be Marcellina, Don Bartolo's housekeeper. Marcellina wanted to marry Figaro before this discovery.
