Blink 182 - "The choice was mine, I didn't think enough. I'm too depressed, to go on. You'll be sorry when I'm gone."

    Adam's Song. Taken from "Enema Of The State", one of Blink 182's 1999 albums. The other one was "The Mark, Tom and Travis Show". They released two singles from "Enema of The State" in the UK, called "What's My Age Again?" and "All The Small Things".

Daniel Bedingfield - "You make my head start spinning around and all I can ever hear is the sound of your heart beating in my ears."
    Girlfriend. Taken from the album, "Gotta Get Thru This". Daniel Bedingfield rose to fame when his debut single & number one single "Gotta Get Thru This" was featured on a garage album, got released as a single and got to number one in 2001 for two weeks, geting knocked down and then all of a sudden getting back up to be 2002's first UK number one.

Sum 41 - "I might as well belong to both of you. And the mess you always seem to drag me through. That night forever always haunting me."
    Nothing On My Back. Taken from the album "All Killer, No Filler", the second best selling rock album of 2001, which spawned three top twenty singles for Sum 41 - "Fat Lip", "In Too Deep" and "Motivation".

Red Hot Chili Peppers - "I'm on a double date. I've got to find my way into the light heavy middle weight."
    On Mercury. Taken from "By The Way", the Red Hot Chili Peppers best selling UK album. Their best selling UK single is the title track.

Shaggy - "Worked hard, got us up for school every day, and kept her eyes on the stars when the skies were grey. Gave us pride to survive, really showed us the way."
    Hope. Taken from "Hot Shot", Shaggy's 2001 smash hit album, which spawned two number ones, "It Wasn't Me" and "Angel" which were both in 2001's top ten best selling singles.

Will Young - "With a sigh, you've fallen in love (yes you have). I won't lie, it's an awkward situation. But I'll try, to tell you again."
    Over You. Taken from "From Now On". This album, believe it or not, was the only album by a solo "Pop Idol" finalist to be the UK's number one album! Gareth Gates got to number two with "What My Heart Wants To Say", Darius got to number five with "Dive In" and Rik Waller got to number 99 with his one, "From Now"!

Busted - "The way I thought I'd never leave this place, the way you made it seem so real. Coz you had faith and you had empathy."
    Without You. Taken from their self-titled album. That album almost hit the UK album chart top spot, but got kept off by Justin Timberlake's "Justified". They also failed to have any number one singles, as "What I Go To School For" and "Year 3000" only hit numbers 3 & 2.

Darren Hayes - "Lookin' like first class, Acting like a cheap date. Honey drippin', smile so stylin'. Bet you know what to do."
    Dirty. Taken from "Spin". When Savage Garden split in December 2001, Darren Hayes became a solo artist and got four top twenty hits from his album "Spin" called "Insatiable", "Strange Relationship", "I Miss You" and "Crush (1980 Me)".

Linkin Park - "A small spot of light floods the floor and pours over the rusted world of pretend. The eyes ease open and its dark again."
    Forgotten. Taken from "Hybrid Theory". All of their albums have got into the UK album top ten in their first week of release, "Hybrid Theory" got to number one, "Reanimation" got to number seven and "Meteora" also got to number one.

Pink - "Pick-up lines like 'what's your sign?' won't get you anyplace. When me and all my girls."
    Respect. Taken from "Missundaztood". This album was the UK's second best selling album of 2002, beaten only by Robbie Williams "Escapology".

The Calling - "You never listened to what I said. You never thought I'd succeed, and though I've given you all I can."
    Nothing's Changed. Taken from "Camino Palmero". Their debut single, "Wherever You Will Go" was kept off the top spot in the UK, by Elvis vs JXL's "A Little Less Conversation" and Scooter's "The Logical Song".

Papa Roach - "Survival of the fittest what it is. I got your back, you got my back and that's the biz. Blood is rushing through my veins."
    Blood Brothers. Taken from "Infest". Papa Roach have had three top twenty singles in the UK, "Last Resort", "Between Angels And Insects" and "She Loves Me Not".

Blink 182 - "I like the ones who say they listen to the punk rock. I like the kids who fight against how they were brought up."
    Give Me One Good Reason. Taken from the album, "Take Off Your Pants And Jacket", the follow-up album to "The Mark, Tom And Travis Show".

Robbie Williams - "Give me endless summer. Lord I fear the cold. Feel I'm getting old."
    Better Man. Taken from "Sing When You're Winning". His duet with Nicole Kidman, "Sumthin' Stupid" was the 2001 UK Christmas number one single with his album "Swing When You're Winning" was the 2001 UK christmas number one album. In 2002 he signed an £80 million record deal, and had 2002's best selling album in the UK, "Escapology".

Justin Timberlake - "Can I talk to you for a minute? You've been looking all night for your shining star. Well baby here I am, so why you waitin'?"
    Take Me Now. Taken from "Justified". In the UK, this album has spwaned three top ten singles, "Like I Love You", "Cry Me A River" and "Work It". It also hit the UK number one album spot, beating Busted.
