    Tennessee Williams. This play was made into a movie starring Katherine Helpburn and Elizabeth Taylor. It had a daring theme for its time, which involved cannabalism and homosexuality.

He was the son of a famous actor and many of his plays, such as 'A Long Day's Journey Into Night' were autobiographical.
    Eugene O'Neill. Another of his 'autobiographical' plays, 'A Moon For The Misbegotten' is currently a hit on Broadway.

The Pulitzer Prize for Drama was awarded to this playwight in 1999 for her play 'Wit.'
    Margaret Edson. 'Wit' is a searingly effective play about a female university professor who is dying of cancer.

This contemporary British playwright won an Oscar for the screenplay of 'Shakespeare In Love' and is the author of such plays as 'Arcadia' and 'The Real Thing.'
    Tom Stoppard. 'The Real Thing' has been brought to Broadway from the London stage and is set to open soon.

A collaborator with George F. Kaufman, this playwright shared credit for 'You Can't Take It With You.'
    Moss Hart. Moss Hart wrote the play 'Light Up The Sky' without Kaufman's help. His autobiography, 'Act One,' provides a popular history of the American theatre during the middle of the 20th Century.

He wrote 'Fences,' 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom,' and 'Joe Turner's Come And Gone.' He is:
    August Wilson. Many of the plays by this Black-American are previewed in regional theatres before they head to Broadway.

A movie version of this playwright's 'Bus Stop' starred Marilyn Monroe.
    William Inge. Willilam Inge had another Hollywood hit with the movie version of his play 'Picnic' starring Kim Novak and William Holden.

She wrote the mother-and daughter drama entitled ' 'Night, Mother.' She is:
    Marsha Norman. Kathy Bates made a big hit early in her career when she played the daughter in this play on Broadway.

One of America's most prolific playwrights, he penned 'Come Blow Your Horn' and 'Biloxi Blues.'
    Neil Simon. A significant number of Simon's plays are autobiographical, including the two mentioned in the question above. 'Come Blow Your Horn' was his first Broadway hit. A movie version was made starring Frank Sinatra.
