    False & f. Prince Albert was a loving father and loved playing with his kids. There was a true account of him dressing as a bear and letting the kids chase him all over the palace as well as playing 'horsey.'

    To honor technological advances. It was to honor the technological advances at the time.

What was the name of the place that housed the Great Exhibition?
    Crystal Palace. It was made out of glass and iron, a revolutionary architectural advance.

    Charles Lyell. Victoria and Albert were fascinated by the works of Michael Faraday, but he made his advances in electrical science, not geology. Louis Pasteur was a French scientist but did not specialize in geology. Albert was fascinated with geology and wanted Victoria to consider a knighthood for Lyell.

From all of his children, which one was most like Prince Albert?
    Victoria. His oldest child and daughter, Victoria, named for her mother, was so much like Albert that he taught her German (Albert himself is a full-blooded German) and she shared most of his personality traits.

What was the main cause of Albert's death (there were several other ailments)?
    Typhoid. The added stress from producing the Great Exhibition along with various other sicknesses made his typhoid worse and he died on Dec. 14th, 1861. Victoria never fully recovered from his death and mourned for him for practically the rest of her life.
