Pamela. Pamela was Ella's childhood friend. When Ella told her about her curse, Pamela thought it would be fun to abuse Ella... that is, until Ella punched her, and their friendship ended.

Who said this? "Your father is not a good man, as the servants have already warned you, unless I miss my guess."

Sir Peter. Well, even if Sir Peter IS Ella's father, he's right-- he's not a good man! He wants to send Ella off to finishing school to become a cultured young lady, but Ella doesn't want to go.

Who said this? "Little mistress, it's hard enough to get your things ready so quick without having to do it twice."

Bertha. This occurs after Ella is ordered by her father to "go bump into somebody else"... so, due to the curse, she has to bump someone, and she chooses Bertha.

Hattie. Hattie is a brat! She always bosses Ella around, and of course Ella has to obey. This quote takes place when Hattie, Ella, and Olive are travelling to finishing school. Hattie won't let Ella eat anything, and Ella is being forced to wait on Hattie... and rub her feet! Gross!

Areida. Areida is from Ayortha, and she begins to teach it to Ella while they are at finishing school. Ella has just asked "Is this how they behave at finishing school?", for the girls there are all very rude. Areida replies in this quote, "Sometimes they are much worse."

SEEf. While escaping from finishing school, Ella is stopped by a group of Ogres. She finds herself in real danger, until Char and his knights come to the rescue. Here, Ella is eating vegetables and the ogres wonder how she can stand eating such disgusting things.

Nancy. Dame Olga is almost as bad as her daughers, Hattie and Olive. She's just as fat and lazy, and just and horrible. Here, Ella decides to play a prank on her new mummy-dearest while Mum Olga is hosting a dinner party.

Who said this? "Going to a ball? Like that? No, it won't do."

Lucinda. Though Lucinda (the fairy who put the curse on Ella) has sworn off 'big' magic, she helps Ella look extra beautiful for the first of three balls. Here, Ella can see Prince Char again.

Who said this? "You see, Charmont and I have an understanding. We are secretly engaged."

Hattie. I can't believe Hattie would say such a lie! Char would never marry her... or Olive, or the blonde girl. He's too much in love with Ella.

"I shan't marry you." Who said this?

Ella. By saying this to Char, and saving him from her curse, Ella frees herself. She winds up marrying him, because the curse is broken and they are both safe.
