This American character actor specialized in slightly dim-witted pals of the lead actor, but his range included villains and ethnic types. He was memorable as Gary Cooper's pal, Pusher, in 'Sergeant York' but you may remember him best as the long suffering husband of Gladys Kravitz on 'Bewitched'.

And finally, a prolific American character actor who has played everything from Bogart's murdered partner, Archer, in 'The Maltese Falcon' to Dagwood's boss, Mr. Radcliffe, in the Blondie series. Maybe you remember him as the prosecuting DA in 1947's 'Miracle on 34th Street.'
