    Both. David Justice drove in Omar Visquel for Cleveland in the top of the inning. Jeff Conine drove in Edgar Renteria for the Marlins in the bottom of the inning. That would be the only run Florida would score all game as they lost 6-1.

Game 3 wound up a slugfest won by Florida. How many combined runs were scored?
    25. In a game that also had a combined 26 hits and 6 errors, the Marlins beat the Indians 14-11. In the ninth inning alone, the Marlins had 7 runs, and the Indians had 4. Gary Sheffield, Jim Eisenreich, and Darren Daulton homered for Florida. Jim Thome homered for Cleveland.

Who homered for the Indians in the bottom of the first inning in game 4?
    Manny Ramirez. Ramirez went up to bat and hit a two run blast off Marlin's pitcher Tony Saunders. That home run set the tone for game 4 as Cleveland won 10-3, and tied the series at two wins apiece.

Orel Hershiser was the starting pitcher for the Indians in game 5. Who was the starting pitcher for the Marlins?
    Livan Hernandez. Hernandez ran into trouble early as he spotted the Indians four runs in the first three innings. He would settle down after that, and pitch into the ninth inning. He gave the ball to Marlin closer, Robb Nen, and Florida won the game 8-7.

What Indian's pitcher beat Marlin's pitcher Kevin Brown for the second time in the series in game 6?
    Chad Ogea. After blanking Florida in the first inning, Ogea took it upon himself to give his team the lead. He singled in two runs in the top of second inning. Chad pitched five solid innings before turning the game over to the bullpen. Cleveland won game 6, 4-1.

In game seven, what Indians pitcher squandered their one run lead in the bottom of the ninth inning?
    Jose Mesa. Mesa was brought in to close out the first championship for the Indians in nearly four decades. He gave up a couple hits to put runners on first and third. Craig Counsell then stepped up to bat and hit a sacrifice fly to bring in the tying run.

Who was it that committed the error in the bottom of the 11th inning of game seven for the Indians?
    Tony Fernandez. With Bobby Bonilla on first base and one out, Craig Counsell hit a grounder to second. When Fernandez tried to field it, the ball rolled past his glove and off into right field. The Marlins then had runners on first and third with only one out.

Who did Marlin shortstop Edgar Renteria drive in with his hit in the bottom of the 11th inning of game seven?
    Craig Counsell. With the bases loaded and two outs, Renteria got a base hit to centerfield. Counsell, who was on third base, came home to score the World Series winning run.

Which team scored the most runs in the 1997 World Series?
    Cleveland Indians & Cleveland & Indians. Cleveland outscored Florida by seven runs. They also out-hit Florida and had fewer errors than the Marlins. The Indians had a better team batting average and a lower earned run average, by almost a full run. Despite all that, the Florida Marlins won the 1997 World Series.
