    Stewart Houston. Arthur Albiston offered his F.A cup winners medal to the injured stewart Houston because he did not feel he deserved it but the offer was politely declined.

During the 1981-82 season, Manchester United had two players who played in every game. Who were they?
    Albiston & Wilkins. Despite playing every game that season, both Albiston and Wilkins only managed one goal each. Wilkins was against Brighton away in a 1-0 win and Albiston's came in a 2-1 win against Liverpool at Anfield.

Manchester United reshuffled their coaching staff in 2002. Can you name the coach brought in to look after the under 17s academy side?
    Francisco Filho & Filho. Francisco Filho was brought in to look after the under 17s side. Former United heroes Brian McClair and Mike Phelan became part of the coaching staff with McClair taking charge of the under 19s and Phelan in charge of the reserves. Jim Ryan became the Academy director of football.

Carlos Queiroz, the assistant manager for the 2002-03 season, is from which country?
    Mozambique. Queiroz is widely credited in bringing through the likes of Figo and Rui Costa from the Portuguese youth set-up but is actually from Mozambique. He was also involved in the South African National side.

    Rotor Volgograd. Schmeichel scored the goal in a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford. Despite the equaliser, the Russians progressed and United were dumped out of the UEFA Cup in 1994-95 on the away goals rule.

In the 1993-94 season, Eric Cantona was sent off in two successive games for United. Who were the opposition?
    Swindon Town & Arsenal. Cantona was sent off for stamping on John Moncur vs. Swindon Town. The sending off against Arsenal was viewed by many to be harsh. Both the games ended 2-2, both of the games were away and United wore black in both of the games.

The 1994 F.A cup run did not contain one home game?
    f. Manchester United played Charlton Athletic at home in the quarter-finals. This was their only home tie. The Cup run was as follows: 3rd: (A) Sheffield United 1-0, 4th: (A) Norwich City 2-0, 5th: (A) Wimbledon 3-0, QF: (H) Charlton Athletic W 3-1, SF: (Wembley) Oldham Athletic (1-1) AET , Replay: (Maine Road) 4-1, Final: (Wembley) Chelsea 4-0.

Diego Forlan finally broke his duck for United with a penalty against Maccabi Haifa in what was his 27th appearance but one player had to wait until his 30th appearance for his first goal for United. Who was he?
    Garry Birtles. Birtles never settled at Old Trafford after his move from Nottingham Forest. He managed only 12 goals in his 64 appearances for United before returning to Forest in September 1982.

Who is the odd one out?
    Gordon Strachan. The reason being that Strachan joined Leeds AFTER playing for United rather than playing for Leeds BEFORE joining United, as the other three did.

Who is the missing player: Charlton, Wilkins, Robson, _________, and Beckham.
    Paul Ince & Ince. All of these United players had captained England. Ince's first game as England captain was in June 1993, which England lost 2-0 to the football world-power, USA !

Former Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis has a unique claim to fame. What is it?
    Played in the Manchester, Merseyside and Old Firm Derbies. Kanchelskis signed for Everton in 1995. In his first game against United after the move, Kanchelskis was taken off injured after only a few minutes when he tangled with Lee Sharpe. Kanchelskis would later play for Rangers after a spell with Italians Fiorentina.

How many players scored against Bayern Munich in the 1998-99 Champions League?
    5 & five. The answer is 5! United drew Bayern in the group stage, as well as the final. They drew 2-2 in the away game with Scholes and Yorke grabbing the goals, they drew 1-1 at home with Keano getting the goal and of course the 2-1 final win with Solskjaer and Sheringham getting the goals. Teddy actually scored two goals against Bayern in the campaign; he scored a last-minute own goal in the 2-2 away draw. He made up for it though!
