My magic has the power to change physical things. I was ALMOST subverted by evil. Who am I?

Brin Ohmsford. Note that the question said ALMOST subverted. Grianne - what happened to her I wouldn't quite call subversion, but yes, she was more or less evil. Not ALMOST evil, but evil. Par may have been almost subverted (by Rimmer Dall), but his wishsong can't change things physically. Shea Ohmsford only has the Sword of Shannara and the Elfstones and can't change things.

I was the first to wield the Sword of Shannara. Who am I?

Jerle Shannara. The Sword of Shannara was forged in "The First King of Shannara", and it was used in that book too. Jerle is the only character in that one.

Because of magic, I became a Shadowen. I had to be rescued by another. Who am I?

Coll Ohmsford. Par IS a Shadowen - or at least, he is if he wants to be, because of the wishsong. Coll became a Shadowen through the Mirrorshroud, and it took Par and the Sword of Shannara to save him.

I have a negative outlook on life and dread my destiny. I despise Allanon. Who am I?

Walker Boh. Walker is to become a Druid, which he doesn't want. He hates Allanon because of what he's done to him. Jair and Wil barely know Allanon. Kimber doesn't even know him at all.

I saved my people from extinction. Who am I?

Wren Elessedil. If you didn't get this right, you either haven't read the Heritage series or didn't pay any attention.

I went with an Elven girl to Safehold on a mission to save the Ellcrys. Who am I?

Wil Ohmsford. Wil and Amberle went to Safehold; he was assigned the task by Allanon in "The Elfstones of Shannara".

I, Bek Ohmsford, did not grow up in Shady Vale. By which river did I grow up?

Rabb River. It says so in the first chapter of "Antrax". Okay, so it was from Grianne's point of view, but obviously Bek grew up with her (for a short time at least).

I am Par and Coll Ohmsford's mother. What is my name?

Mirianna Ohmsford. She's mentioned once or twice in the Heritage series. Good job if you got this right! And if you didn't, that's okay... :) By the way, I know some of the first names of the wrong answers don't match with the last name, but I did that on purpose, cause I wanted to trick you. :p

I am a red-haired street magician from Tyrsis. I fall in love with one of the Ohmsfords. Who am I, and who is he?

Damson Rhee and Par Ohmsford. Damson Rhee meets Par Ohmsford in "The Scions of Shannara" and they fall in love with each other. When everything is over, they set up an inn in Tyrsis.

At the age of six, I was kidnapped by the Morgawr. He gave me a name - Ilse Witch. What does "Ilse" mean?

Singer. If I remember correctly, "Ilse" means "song" or "singer" (something like that). And Grianne Ohmsford was a singer (the wishsong)...
