    Faberge & Peter Faberge & Peter Carl Faberge. Peter Carl Faberge, a Russian jeweller and goldsmith, made a special series of jewelled Easter eggs for Czar Alexander III's daughter. He was exiled to Switzerland during the Russian revolution and died there in 1920.

This Dutch painter, a student of Rembrandt, died young in a fire, but not before painting such classics as 'The Goldfinch' in 1654. Name that painter!
    Fabritius & Carel Fabritius. As a result of the fire, most of his oeuvre was destroyed...only a dozen or so still exist today! Fabritius was only 32 when he died...

    Fabius & Laurent Fabius. Fabius was appointed as PM in 1984, in the middle of an economic crisis. Apparently, he did not steer France clear of its problems...his party was defeated in the 1986 election!

Known for his work in embryology and in the study of the circulatory system, he was an influence on William Harvey. Who was this 'fab'ulous Italian anatomist?
    Fabricius & Geronimo Fabricius. Geronimo Fabricius, who lived during the 16th and 17th centuries, discovered the valves that direct blood towards the heart among other great observations. He also did detailed studies of chick embryos, and is considered the father of that science. William Harvey, his pupil, went on to discover that blood circulates through the body...and became the father of modern medicine. As George Harrison would have put it...'Fab, long time ago these guys was fab'...okay, maybe he wouldn't have said that...but I did!
