T. Lauren explains to her mother that some things have turned on by themselves, which Amy experiences herself. It becomes clear in a few more episodes that Jason Lobdel may have been in their apartment doing those things to mess with Amy.

Ronnie Thayer. Patrick Renna played Ronnie. Ronnie did supply Amy with the identity of the real stalker, Jason Lobdel, played by Richard Jones' (Bruce) "Event Horizon" co-star Jack Noseworthy. Jack played Justin and Richard played Cooper in the Sci-Fi thriller "Event Horizon" in 1997. Patrick Renna was in "Son In Law", "The Sandlot", and guest-starred on "ER" and "The X-Files".

Tyne Daly. Kathryne Dora Brown is the daughter of Tyne Daly and actor Georg Stanford Brown. Georg, like Tyne, has had a long career. He guest-starred on such TV series as "Mannix", "Medical Center", "Matlock", "Cagney and Lacey", and "Nip/Tuck". He starred in the movies "Roots", "The Jesse Owens Story", "North and South", and "House Party 2". I couldn't leave out some of his other accomplishments, like director in "Roots: The Next Generation", "Fantasy Island", "Hotel", "Magnum PI", "Hill Street Blues", and "Miami Vice".

The stalker is killed inside the Gray home. After saving Lauren from Jason Lobdel during the school field trip, Eric stays the night with Maxine and Amy. Amy and Maxine awaken later in the night, and upon investigating find Eric standing over a dead Jason and holding a bloody knife.

Salty Crab. He arranged the entire event, but when they all arrived at the high-brow establishment it turned out that the reservation had not been booked. The man who took Peter's reservation and deposit had fled the country and was rumored to be in Venezuela. Jared and Maxine had moved their wedding up from a possible January to an immediate 2 weeks. This all occurred in the episode "Boys to Men".

Vincent. Vincent was reported not to be able to make it on such short notice. It was Peter who arranged the entire evening, but Kyle's suggestion of the Salty Crab restaurant was used when the plans suddenly changed. Peter was even able to get Jared's son Charles to fly in from China to attend and stay until the wedding. William Ragsdale played Charles Duff. William played Herman Brooks in the TV series "Herman's Head" in 1991.

Pediatrician. While she and Peter waited to interview a new pediatrician for Ned and the new baby, there is chaos in the waiting room. The kids are all running amok and the phone rings unanswered, so Gillian steps in and just takes over. She organizes everything and the doctor finds her indispensable. At the end of the day he offers her a job and after hedging a bit, she accepts.
Maxine, Lauren and Amy spend the weekend in an 18th century style inn as part of Lauren's school fund raiser. When they get there they find out that they are not staying as guests, but as servants instead!

Lisha left him. Amy never would allow Lauren to testify. Lauren did tell Amy she wanted to have things stay as they already were, but Amy did not want Lauren to feel any guilt for stating that fact in front of Michael in court. Michael admitted to Amy that he wanted Lauren to live with him in hopes of keeping his marriage to Lisha together.

pet psychic. Tyne Daly's "Cagney and Lacey" co-star Sharon Gless guest stars as Sally Godwin. Sally and Maxine had been close friends for years, but lost touch when Sally became a politician. Sally was called in to do a review on Maxine and their friendship becomes damaged.
In Bruce's mediation of the older couple, they are arguing over custody of a parrot they'd had since early marriage. Now in their late 70s or early 80s, the husband had cheated after his wife started chemotherapy. So, Bruce had Donna play a pet psychic in order to express what their pet Frances was thinking. The ruse worked and the couple decided to stay together for the sake of their bird.

so they can get some sleep/be intimate. Willie is a grown man with special needs and for some reason does not sleep well. About once a month his parents leave him at St. Michaels overnight so that they can sleep without interruption. Kyle does not know this at first and sends Willie home, but the next night he has the entire thing explained to him. Dr. Redeker allows Willie's parents this one luxury for free. Donn Swaby played Willie Edwards, and he has also been seen in "GI Jane", "The Sopranos" and "Passions".
|Bruce brings Rebecca to work with him on Take Your Daughter to Work Day. Mia is late picking her up and Rebecca wanders off. When they find her she is in the hospital. What caused her to be injured?|
she had a seizure and fell down. Rebecca comes into St. Michaels hospital where Kyle works. He and Dr. Redeker attend to her needs. Rebecca had decided earlier in the day she wanted to decrease her medicine and conned Bruce into thinking she had taken the pills. So, when she wandered off she was at risk for having a seizure. She did turn out to be ok despite her head injury.

T. Monty had suffered a string of bad luck. His wife had left him, and he couldn't get his clients off of their charges. So, his clients had a tendency to hit him in the face. When he finally has crossed the line, Monty's client hits him in Amy's courtroom and Monty pulls out a gun. No one was seriously hurt, but Amy did get grazed by the bullet. Tyne Daly's younger brother Tim Daly portrayed Monty Fisher.
|Did Gillian get the perfect baby girl she expected?|
N. The baby did turn out to be healthy, despite an amniocenteses to the contrary. But, the baby was a boy and not a girl. Peter excitedly reports to the family all is well with his new son, but when he returns to the operating room Gillian is in crisis. The season ends with Peter returning to the waiting room with a look of despair for his family. We find out in season five that Gillian is still in a coma when the season begins.
