frightened. Ellie describes how she sometimes feels that being frightened would be better than being bored. She explains how the energy pumps through your body, how your heart bangs away and how you forget that you're feeling cold, tired, hungry or that you're in pain. She explains how fear helps you forget the past and the future, and that you're fixed on that one moment in time.

Relocate the chooks. The main project before leaving was to relocate the chooks. They knocked up a new feeder to the brim with food and rebuilt their yard so that the creek flowed through the corner of it, enabling the chooks to have access to water.

In a work party, on a farm. When the five were walking across the countryside to Cobbler's Bay, they spied on a work party, who were working on a farm just outside of Wirrawee. Kevin was part of the work party, and they later regained another member of their group.

He pretended to fall down a well. Ellie's idea was to make it look like Kevin had died by falling down a well. Homer and Ellie caught a sheep and killed it, and pushed it into the well, so that after a few days it would smell like Kevin really had died.

A wheat silo. The wheat silo was a concrete building, which was dry. It was a good choice of shelter because colonists wouldn't be interested in it until harvest time in summer.

diesel fuel. Kevin told the others in the group that he had been taught by a man at the showground how to make a simple explosive. Him and Ellie went around to the neighbouring farms to search for all the things needed.

Three quarters of a tonne. When the truck 'broke' down, the group loaded 3/4 of a tonne of anfo, a detonator and a safety fuse into the container. Homer and Ellie hid in the back of the truck, and endured the long wait until they were to blow up the ship.

Baloney Creek. Homer and Ellie had arranged to meet the others at Baloney Creek, a couple of kilometers away from Cobbler's Bay. Ellie struggled to get there, but she arrived just in time when three soldiers were attacking her friends. She shot them and then they quickly left Baloney Creek with the soldiers' car.

General S. When Major Harvey was questioning Ellie, he asked how she knew that General S was there the night that they blew it up. Ellie had no idea who this was, and although happy that they blew up an important figure to the soldiers, she was still disappointed that their attack didn't kill Major Harvey.

Monday 16th. Ellie and Homer were sentenced to death on Monday, 16th at 7am. When Ellie asked what the date was, she was told Friday 6th, and knew she only had ten days more to live.

A hand grenade. Robyn was extremely brave and sacrificed her life to kill Major Harvey, and let the others escape from the prison.

5 months. Ellie, Lee, Fi, Kevin and Homer were in New Zealand for five months before returning back to Australia.
