    Admiral Benbow. First belonging to his father, the Admiral Benbow was later in the hands of Jim Hawkins and his mother after his father had died.

What was Captain Flint's first name?
    John. His name is John Flint.

What caused Jim's father to die?
    illness. The book states that Jim's father was ill. He got weaker and weaker until ultimately he died.

Where did the gold that was buried on "Treasure Island" initially come from?
    Porto Bello. Just like the title of the prequel says: "Porto Bello Gold". The gold was taken from a Spanish ship after it took off from Porto Bello.

Who inflicted the scar (sabre cut) across Bill Bones' cheek?
    Robert Ormerod. Robert Ormerod was the nephew of the pirate captain who raided the Spanish gold. He got in a fight on the "Walrus" with Bill Bones. He cut Bones' cheek with a knife.

Who was first mate on the ship that sailed Jim and the others from Bristol to Treasure Island?
    Arrow. "Mr. Arrow", as he was called, was first mate on the "Hispaņola" until one night he vanished and was never seen or heard from again.

Jim Hawkins got entangled in a fight after cutting the anchor rope on the "Hispaņola". With whom?
    Israel Hands. It was Israel Hands who Jim shot, after he'd been discovered aboard the ship.

Who was in command of the boat on which Jim went from the "Hispaņola" to the island?
    Anderson. Jim Hawkins volunteered to leave the ship and set foot on the island. The boat on which he left was under the command of Anderson. (This is a minor detail; you really need to read the book closely for this one!)

When John Silver, Jim Hawkins, and the rest got closer to the treasure, they found a skeleton. According to John Silver, whose skeleton was it?
    Allardyce's. John Silver recognized Allardyce by the long bones and the yellow hair.

Who was the captain of the ship that raided the treasure from the Spanish at first?
    Captain Rip-Rap. This also appears in the prequel story. Rip-Rap worked together with Flint, but he was the one who took the treasure from the Spanish ship.

On what part of the island was the treasure initially buried?
    Spy-glass Hill. If you take a look at one of the maps of Treasure Island, you will see that the bulk of treasure was buried on the south side of Spy-glass Hill.

What was "the Dead Man's Chest"?
    an island. The subject of the old pirate song was actually an island, as the prequel tells us.

Where did Flint die?
    Savannah. John Silver tells the crew Flint died in Savannah of rum. He was there with Flint, Bones, and the others at the time.

How many men did Flint kill on the island while there to bury the treasure?
    6. Flint left the "Walrus" to bury the treasure with Allardyce and five others. Only Flint returned. The six sailors had all been killed.

Skeleton Island was _______ of the island.
    South. Again, take a look at the map!

John Silver had a nickname. What was it? (This one's easy...)
    "Barbecue". John Silver was the ship's cook on the Walrus and was famed for his grilled meat.

Where was Jim hiding when he accidentally overheard Silver's conspiracy plans?
    in an apple barrel. Strangely enough, they did have fresh apples aboard the schooner!

How did Blind Pew die?
    He was run over by a horse. Abandoned by his mates, Pew tripped as he tried to run and was accidentally run over by a horse just in front of the inn.

Why did Jim keep nothing back but the bearings of the island in his journal?
    because there was still treasure to be lifted. This was taken from the first few lines of the book.

And now the final question: (This one's really really easy...) What was the name of Flint's ship?
    "Walrus". Everyone who read the book should know this one!
