Top Mount Intercooler. The Wrx has always used the TMIC system. The real rally cars sometimes use the front mount solution for better cooling at high speeds. The WRX comes stock with a wimpy top mount, while the STi comes with a slightly bigger one. Most people change theirs out to the STi for increased cooling capacity.

13.5-14.5 PSI. The boost on the WRX is pretty high for a stock car. With very little effort you can get up to 17 pounds efficently with the stock turbo. Free flowing exhaust and boost control is all you need! Engine management is highly recommended though!

The 02-05 WRX does not have upper door frames.

t. The top of the door does not have a frame around it. The glass presses up against the rubber seal. (Bad for leaks)

Aluminum. Aluminum was used on the WRX hood and you can tell! If you have ever lifted the hood on a WRX it feels feather light. The down side is you can not take many small hits without getting the dreaded dings. I made up Cobalt/Steel Alloy, hopefully you didn't pick it!

Who helped out on the design of the 02-03 WRX steering wheel?

MOMO. Perrin, although a primary supplier of WRX parts, does not even make steering wheels. Recaro mainly makes seats and supplied them for the EVO. I made up Steering Tech, so if you picked them, sorry.
