    Sean Elliott. Elliott was the first player ever to come back from a liver transplant to play in the NBA. He made his dramatic return with the San Antonio Spurs, where he played most of his career (he had a brief stint with the Pistons).

    Mike Bibby. Bibby went number two in 1998 to the Grizzlies. Elliott went number three in 1989.

    Bibby and Simon. Mike Bibby went on to play together in the Grizzlies backcourt. Jason Terry would come in for the Cats to provide Lute with a strong three guard line-up back in 1997.
