3. Arriving at Shanghai, we enjoy one of China's largest cities. The next day we embark on a train towards the border between China and Nepal where the world's largest mountain peak awaits. 4. Happily descending after our rigorous mountain climb, we pass through Nepal and into India. Rather than journey by land, we make our way in boats down one of the world's longest rivers. 6. Taking off from the city of Brisbane, we take a series of flights to Cairo, Egypt. After a brief rest and a look at the Great Pyramids, we sometimes sail, sometimes ride camels slowly up the Nile River. 8. After this frighteningly cold journey, we make our way up through the Antarctic Peninsula towards the southern tip of Chile and Argentina. A rather large cruising boat takes us along the South American coast in the direction of Ecuador. We will visit some islands off the Ecuadorian coast made famous by Charles Darwin. 9. Returning to Ecuador, we arrive at Quito and the international airport there. Our next destination is Europe. After another long flight, we land in Madrid, Spain.
