Then someXs u go as far as possible and then some and you know you ain't gonna surrender so you just have to shout "I SAID NO D@MMIT!" and you can even slam a door to punctuate! Well, at least that's what I did this first weekend of the new year. But my placidity is back and I am remembering what joyous peace there is in silence.

Good Lord, it's been over a year already. Not the greatest year on record in my "Little Big Book". Any one remember those? My personal favorites were Huckleberry Hound and Rocky & Bullwinkle. OK, seriously, my placidity has gone to guano. That soon will pass and I will attempt to make fertilizer from all that guano, I'm too tired to keep trudging through it so I'll have to put it to good use. I reckon I'll be back in a year or so. TTFN

Well, it hasn't been quite a year yet, but I thought I'd check in just the same. Seriously thinking about leaving home in the spring to explore the country, just me and my dobie girls, a phone, laptop and whatever transportation/home I can acquire. Yep, this June, when I turn 50, I am going to begin an entirely different life for myself and my dogs. We are goin' mobile. If you have read this, perhaps you will wish me well. December 15, 2007 |
