She won a second nomination for "Legally Blonde" in 2001 and had the biggest movie of her career so far with "Sweet Home Alabama" a year later. She won a Best Actress Oscar in 2005 for playing June Carter in "Walk the Line" and won an Emmy as a producer for the first season of "Big Little Lies" in 2017.

She married Ryan Phillipe in 1999 but they separated in 2006. Ms Witherspoon earned a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.

Born on 8th January 1979, Tomasz Schafernaker became the youngest man (at the time) to present the weather when he became a weather presenter for the BBC in 2000.
