2. In "Guns of Avalon", why is the shadow world Avalon important to Corwin's plans of taking back Amber from his brother Eric's rule?

Answer: jeweler's rouge in Avalon will fire as gunpowder in Amber

Corwin planned on creating an army armed with guns from the Shadow Earth, firing bullets made with gunpowder from Avalon, since gunpowder from other worlds are inert in Amber.
3. He is considered the most formidable swordsman and master tactician in the Amber universe despite having only one arm. Who is this eldest surviving son of Oberon, who led the armies of Amber on its attack on Chaos in the book "The Courts of Chaos"?

Benedict lost his right arm after a fight with his lover, the hellmaid Lintra of Chaos. For a short period, he used a mechanical arm which Corwin acquired during his visit to Tir-na Nog'th.

Answer: Tir-na Nog'th

The name for the city in the sky in the Amber series is from the mythological afterworld in Irish mythology, Tir-na nog. Agartha is the name for the legendary city at the core of the earth, Nibiru is a mythological planet described by the Babylonians, and Themiscyra, the popular home of Wonder Woman, is originally found in Greek mythology.

Coral, although Oberon's daughter, did not live in Amber and was not publicly known as an Amberite. Dara is Benedict's daughter. Faiella is Corwin, Eric, and Deirdre's mother. Vialle is Random's wife, and Vinta is Caine's mistress.

Answer: The Hand of Oberon

In "The Hand of Oberon", Corwin was already ruling Amber and was visiting his former cell when he met the author of the book in a singular occasion of self-insertion. Roger, one of the dungeon guards, said he was writing a "philosophical romance shot through with elements of horror and morbidity."
9. At the start of the book "Trumps of Doom," Merlin recalls being constantly hounded by a yearly attempt on his life every 30th of April. Who is responsible for these attacks?

Answer: his friend Luke

Merlin later found out that Luke Reynard was in fact Rinaldo, son of his uncle Brand. Luke wanted to have revenge over the killing of Brand, and attempted to kill Merlin every April 30, the anniversary of Luke's discovery of the death of his father at the Patternfall War.
10. In "Hand of Oberon", Corwin and Random found out that Random's estranged son was used by Brand to cause the damage to the primal Pattern. Who was this son?
