Erica eventually realized that Silver was not her sister and was actually an impostor named Connie Wilkes.

The video came on screen and everyone screamed when they saw Jenny's face on the porno video. Jenny left the theater and Greg followed her onto a catwalk above an auditorium. Greg lost his balance and fell and he was paralyzed for a couple of months.

One night, Donna sang at The Chateau and Chuck brought Palmer John there since he was on an emergency call at Pine Valley Hospital. A fire broke out and Palmer John died from smoke inhalation.

Connie admitted, to Erica, that she had an affair with Kent and Erica confronted Kent about it at the Founders' Day Ball. Connie lied that Erica had shot Kent, in cold blood, and Erica went on the run when she was wanted for Kent's murder.

While on the run, Erica disguised herself as a nun in order to attend Kent's memorial service.

Connie was told not to leave Pine Valley since she was the star witness in the prosecution's case against Erica. Tad Martin saw Connie's picture in "The Pine Valley Bulletin" and revealed that she was actually impersonating Silver Kane. Connie was arrested and sent to a prison in California.
