Answer: Hospital

The show "M*A*S*H" was a smash hit for eleven seasons from 1972 until 1983. It was a dark comedy which followed doctors, nurses and other key roles at a field hospital in Korea during the Korean War. MASH is a US Army acronym which stands for 'Mobile Army Surgical Hospital' and so, the setting was a bit rustic, meaning, surgery was performed in tents, but, the cast made the best of it and of the war.

The show starred Alan Alda, Loretta Swit, Jamie Farr, and William Christopher for the entire duration of the show, with many other actors on the show as well. Over its run, "M*A*S*H" was nominated for over 100 Emmy awards and won 14 of them.

8. What were the names of the four musicians who made up the rock band the Banana Splits in a TV show?

Answer: Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper & Snorky

Fleegle was a Beagle, Bingo was an ape, Droopy a lion and Snorky an elephant in the Hanna-Barbera show "The Banana Splits Adventure Hour" that ran for 31 episodes on America's NBC from September 1968 to September 1970. It was picked up in other countries also.

9. What television miniseries about the Apollo space program, co-produced and narrated by Tom Hanks, took its name from a Jules Verne novel?

Answer: From the Earth to the Moon

Jules Verne was a pioneer in the science fiction genre and his lighthearted fantasy "De la Terre à la Lune" uncannily parallels the real human odyssey to reach our nearest neighbor. The twelve episodes of "From the Earth to the Moon" accurately portray the Apollo space program as a whole, yet each episode tells its story from a fresh perspective using a different filming technique. Emmy and Golden Globe awards confirmed it the best miniseries of 1998.

10. "Seinfeld": Kramer frequently comes up with wacky business ideas (that more often than not, end up with disastrous results). Which one of the following is NOT one of them?

Answer: A wireless electric guitar

Yeah, Kramer was never too much of a music guy (nobody on the series was, actually), so he never went into that branch when planning his weird business plans. The beach cologne was actually successful, though he didn't get any credit for it. And personally, I would definitely go to a place where I can make my own pizza!
