"The Simpsons": "Treehouse of Horror XXXII" Quiz

"Treehouse of Horror XXXII" shows Milhouse as Thumper, Bart as Bambi (called Barti), and Marge as Barti's mother. The original "Bambi" film was released in 1942 and early in the film Bambi's mother is killed by a hunter. In "The Simpsons" spoof of "Bambi", Montgomery Burns is the hunter but the deer end up getting their revenge.

"D'oh Piercer" is a spoof of "Snowpiercer" which was a 2013 film directed by Bong Joon-ho. Chris Evans starred in "Snowpiercer" which was a train that traveled non-stop around Earth with the last surviving group of humans. Bart and Greta are watching "D'oh Piercer" when Greta's father comes home and fires Kirk Van Houten.

In a great spoof of the Academy Award for Best Picture winner of 2019, "Parasite", the Simpson family cons their way into the home of the Wolfcastle family. After Marge lets Kirk Van Houton into the Wolfcastle home, he moves the refrigerator and goes down several flights of stairs. Kirk's wife and daughter are living in the basement as are dozens of other characters from "The Simpsons" franchise. Eventually, a massive fight breaks out.

Answer: Chop at it with an axe

A portion of the episode is titled "Nightmare on Elm Tree". In their treehouse, Bart tells a scary story to Lisa, Maggie, and Milhouse that scares them and prompts Homer to take an axe with the intent to cut down the tree. The tree animates, asking who dares chop at him and then when Homer keeps chopping the tree with his axe, the tree flings Homer against the house.

When the Simpsons' tree sees a sign at the Springfield Christmas Tree Farm that reads "chop 'em, drop 'em, and strap 'em to your car", he gets very upset. After the trees are animated, they start marching to teach humans a lesson.

The trees all release their pollen and it causes the humans to sneeze and be disoriented. This causes the humans to drop their weapons (mostly chainsaws and axes) allowing the trees to attack them.

Answer: Vincent Price

Vincent Price is depicted reading a bedtime story to Maggie about how Bart engages in mischief each month of the year. The mischief included putting worms in Homer's waffles and sending faxes of his butt. Vincent Price was an iconic actor in the horror genre, particularly in adaptations of Edgar Allan Poe works like "House of Usher" (1960), "The Pit and the Pendulum" (1961), and "The Masque of the Red Death" (1964).

Lisa is eating her lunch on a bench outside when Sherri and Terri gloat to her about having a party to which Lisa wasn't invited. Abe Simpson is the grandfather of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. He tells Bart and Lisa that seven days is three more days than the doctor gave him and he agrees to watch the TikTok video. Lisa believed that if Abe could tell her and Bart what is on the video, maybe she could stop the impending death of viewers.

Lisa watches the TikTok video that is supposed to kill you within seven days and then demands to be taken immediately. Mopey Mary crawls out of the well and is touched by Lisa's kindness.
