Fortunately, the Pixie persona is of the Magician arcana and costs less than two thousand Yen to summon. This makes Yosuke fairly easy and cheap to level up.

2. There is a chance the player can kick start Chie Satonaka's social link off fast before even starting it. However, there is a prerequisite involved before the player can earn social link points when exchanging phone numbers with Chie. What prerequisite is this?

Answer: Courage

The player must have a Brave rating in Courage. If they do, they can choose the "Ask her straight out" option when exchanging numbers with Chie. Otherwise, they'll have to pick the "Say it's for the investigation team" choice, which won't bolster their social status with Chie like the alternative will.

Unfortunately, this interaction comes up early enough in the game to the point where it would be completely impossible to have a high enough Courage stat. Because of this, the player will only be able to choose this option on New Game Plus.

3. After each time the player levels up their social link with Marie, they can then go to the Velvet Room to find that she continues to accidentally leave important, evidently intimate items on the floor in the room. What does Marie keep dropping after each social rank level up?

Answer: Poems

Each occurrence, the player will find Marie is missing from her usual place in the Velvet Room. They can find, lying idly on the floor, a different poem written by her each time. After reading it, she will appear behind the player and angrily demand they stop reading her poems.

4. Uniquely, the Strength arcana social link can be with either Kou Ichiro or Daisuke Nagase, depending on player choice. Regardless of which one the player ends up with, the Strength arcana's ultimate Persona remains the same. Who is this?

Answer: Zaou Gongen

Zaou Gongen is a very offensively inclined Persona, with the ability to inflict heavy damage using either the Strength or Magic stats. He will Repel Fire but is weak to Electric.

5. Eri Minami can be difficult to find as a social link, as it will require the player to accept a specific daytime job. What job is this?

Answer: Daycare Worker

If the player is short on Yen, they may find this social link entirely on accident, as the Daycare Worker job is the highest paying daytime job in the game, naturally incentivizing players to take part in it this way.

6. The Sun arcana social link will force the player to join either the Drama Club or Music Club. Either way, advancing this social link can only be done on one of three specific days of the week. Which is one of them?

Answer: Thursday

On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, these clubs will meet and the player can advance their social rank in that way. The clubs do not meet on holidays or when school is out.

7. In order to complete Nanako Dojima's social link, the player will need to max which stat?

Answer: Expression

They will need a level 4 in Expression once Nanako reaches rank 6, and they'll then need it maxed to go beyond rank 8.

Fishing Master is earned by catching the Sea Guardian at Shichiri Beach. This is mandatory in order to finish the Hermit social link belonging to The Fox, as this is one of the requests under the Hermit social link.

9. Ryotaro Dojima will reward the player, specifically their character, for finishing his social link with what?

Answer: Coffee Mug

Dojima tells the MC to write their name on the mug. This is basically a means of "officially" calling the character family.

10. Tohru Adachi's social link is by far the most volatile in the game. It must be advanced to a certain point by early November or it will be impossible to finish by the end of the game. What level must Adachi's social rank be by November 1st?

Answer: Six

If this rank isn't achieved, it becomes locked and the social cannot be advanced for the remainder of that playthrough. If this number is achieved by November 1st, the player has nothing to worry about it, as it will now max on its own eventually as the game progresses.

11. Tohru Adachi became the first character in the franchise to be capable of having his Arcana changed completely, from Jester to Hunger. The player must first meet his November 1st deadline, after which they must do what?

Answer: Be on the pathway to the "good" ending

If the player ends up on the pathway to the "bad" ending, this will either result in the game ending immediately or it will result in them becoming Adachi's accomplice. The former will obviously stop Adachi's social link right in its tracks since the game is over, while the latter will prevent Jester from becoming Hunger, and will instead max out Adachi's social as a Jester.

If the player has made the correct decisions to line themselves up for the "good" ending, they will end up visiting Adachi alone, without their teammates. A cutscene will play out where dialogue takes place between the player and Adachi, which ultimately results in Adachi's arcana changing from Jester to Hunger.

12. Much like Chie Satonaka, if the player meets a stat prerequisite, they can get their social with Yukiko Amagi off to a fast start. They just have to choose a specific dialogue option. What dialogue is this?

Answer: "No worries, I'll protect you"

In this cutscene, the player and Yukiko are essentially amidst a stakeout, spying on Kanji Tatsumi. While waiting, Yukiko will get bored or otherwise and talk to the player about the serial killer. They can then choose this dialogue option to comfort her, but only if they've got Courage at Brave or higher. Similarly to Chie, this is impossible to achieve on a first playthrough by this point of the game, necessitating New Game Plus.

13. If the player manages to finish Margaret's social link, they can meet her outside the Velvet Room on the final day of the game. Here, Margaret can, in her own words, commit a "sin" which she asks the character to close their eyes for. What does Margaret do here?

Answer: Kiss them

The cutscene is brief and, of course, with the camera going pitch black as a result of the character closing their eyes, Margaret is not actually seen doing this. However, based on her dialogue and the reaction of the character themselves, it is fairly obvious that this has taken place.

14. During Kanji Tatsumi's social link, we learn that he is quite skilled with a hobby of his he didn't previously reveal to anyone. What activity is this?

Answer: Knitting

During this social link, Kanji crafts several different types of stuffed animals for a kid he meets. He also tells the player he once sewed a hole shut on a classmate's bag, resulting in most of his classmates heckling him for it. At the end of his social link, he will invite himself to the player's house and essentially force them, in somewhat jest, to help him work on a project he wanted to start.

15. Teddie's social link is one of the slowest in the game to progress. On what day is he available to have it advanced?

Answer: Never

Teddie's social link passively progresses as the story carries on. On one hand, this means the player doesn't have to put any effort in whatsoever to max his social rank, nor do they need to invest any time or meet any prerequisites or do it. On the other, this means Teddie's social link won't max out until basically the end of the game.

16. Naoto Shirogane is one of just two characters in the game with whom the player can find themselves under a "Reverse Link" with. This happens if they choose a specific dialogue line during the cutscene progressing Naoto's social to level 4. What dialogue line here would result in a Reverse Link?

Answer: "You're on your own."

Naoto and the player make additional progress on a mystery they've been working on during Naoto's social. For whatever reason, the player could choose to suddenly abandon Naoto by using this dialogue line when she looks for their assurance. If they truly wanted to do that and go through with it, Naoto will be shocked, disappointed, the cutscene will end and the game will inform the player that Naoto's social is under a Reverse Link. To escape this status, the player will need a max level of Expression and will need to speak to Naoto during her next available moment.

17. As a potential romantic interest for the main character, if Rise Kujikawa is chosen for an intimate relationship, she can gift the player with the Silver Bangle on Christmas Eve. The item looks nice and its origin is very heartwarming, but it's also incredibly useful in combat as well. What does it do?

Answer: 50% extra SP

It should be noted that only the main character, and not any of their teammates, can equip this item. While many items can be useful depending on the player's playstyle, a massive 50% boost to SP would be an excellent option, particularly for players inclined on using Magic or Support skills primarily.

While romancing Rise is a prerequisite to obtaining this, the player must also accept her request to then spend time with her on Christmas Eve to receive the ring.

18. Ai Ebihara can be acquired as a social link once the player gets a different social link to level four. What social link must reach level four first?

Answer: Fellow Athletes

Once this is achieved, the player can interact with Ai on a non-rainy day. If their Courage is Brave level or higher, they can begin her social link by agreeing to skip school to meet her the next day.

19. Amusingly, Ai Ebihara can be the recipient of quite the scolding from a different female character in the game, if the player has chosen to romance this particular character. Which character of the following can abruptly interrupt a meeting between the player and Ai if romanced?

Answer: Yukiko Amagi

If the player agrees to spend time with Ai on either a weekend or an off day from school, and if the player has entered an intimate relationship with Yukiko, she will appear to interrupt their meeting with Ai. In the cutscene, she will step in, abruptly (and amusingly) tell Ai off, drive her away, and will then take AI's place spending time with the player. If the player hasn't maxed Yukiko's social yet, this will make progress towards doing so.

20. Not one to be outdone, Ai Ebihara herself can rudely push away a friendly face who steps in on a meeting with the player. If met on a weekend or off day from school, what character will appear and quickly get driven off by Ai?

Answer: Rise Kujikawa

During this scene, Rise, who has a major crush on the main character, will spot Ai and the character hanging out. She will politely approach to ask what's going on, only to get entirely dismissed and driven away by Ai in similar fashion to how Yukiko completely dominated Ai in an earlier scene.
