Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Owner and founder of Bluecorp, he punched Phoenix Wright in the face, then later accused him of murder. Who is it?

Answer: Redd White

'Redd White, owner of the Bluecorp' does roll off the tongue in quite a funny way. He is particularly notable, or his victim is at least, as he turned out to be the man who murdered Mia Fey, Phoenix's mentor.
2. As supposed "ace detective", he tried to get himself charged with grand larceny so he wouldn't stand trial for murder. Who is it?

Answer: Luke Atmey

Luke Atmey was long thought to be the detective tracking the master thief Mask DeMasque. Then, Luke Atmey was accused of actually being Mask DeMasque, a distinction he took on surprisingly eagerly. His glee with being labelled as the thief, however, became apparent as it turned out he was not in fact Mask DeMasque, but was actually the murderer the entire time! Quite the number of plot twists...
3. After she was attacked by Jack Hammer, this person pushed him a top a swath of metallic gate spikes, killing him immediately. We also learn she has ties to the mafia. Who is it?

Answer: Dee Vasquez

The director of the entire studio, Vasquez mainly acted in self-defence initially. Afterward, however, she tried to hide the body, then attempted to frame Will Powers as the culprit.
4. Supposedly has "20/200" vision, and his broken glasses were an important piece to implicating him as the true culprit. By treating everyone around him like an idiot, he also probably didn't have too many friends. Who is it?

Answer: Richard Wellington

Richard Wellington is also responsible for bludgeoning Phoenix Wright over the head with a fire extinguisher, knocking him unconscious. In the end, loudly proclaiming to have "perfect 20/200 vision" was the catalyst for the scales tipping towards Wellington.
5. He killed Russell Berry, Ringmaster of the Big Berry Circus. He also has a pet monkey that briefly swiped Phoenix's attorney badge. Who is it?

Answer: Ken "Acro" Dingling

The circus once had a lion named Leon. One day, Leon accidentally injured Bat, Acro's brother, in a freak scenario which caused Bat to fall into a coma. In the attack, Acro was injured to the point of being wheelchair bound. After this happened, Russell Berry shot and executed Leon. Acro tried to kill his daughter Regina, thinking she was responsible for what Leon did as his tamer.

However, he accidentally killed Russell instead of his daughter.
6. The final, true culprit found after several trials, including three in just one day, he is a face Phoenix knows very well, and is notably color blind. Jazz is most likely his favorite music genre. Who is it?

Answer: Prosecutor Godot

The opposing attorney across most of "Trials & Tribulations", Godot planned an extremely elaborate murder out. He killed Elisa Deauxnim, but his actual target was Dahlia Hawthorne- he had figured that Dahlia would take possession of Elise's body via spirit channeling. Things went wrong, but Dahlia would be stopped in the end.
7. This man was technically the only client Phoenix could not secure a Not Guilty verdict for. He contracted someone to kidnap Maya Fey, holding her over Phoenix's head so he would aim to get a good verdict for him anyway. He contracted Shelly de Killer to assassinate Juan Corrida. Who is this?

Answer: Matt Engarde

Engarde spends the first half of the episode acting the part of a brainless, helpless idiot. This turns out to be a facade, as Engarde indeed hired an assassin to kill Juan Corrida. Though Engarde himself didn't do the crime, he obviously had a large involvement in having it carried out. As such, he cannot be considered Not Guilty and Phoenix knows this.
8. The murderer of Glen Elg, this man met with Elg to collect on an enormous debt. He is quite easy to rile up and is also a member of the local mafia. Who is it?

Answer: Furio Tigre

Tigre works under the Cadaverini family. After getting in a car accident with Viola and crippling her, Tigre was under fire from the mafia don regarding paying her expensive medical bills. The bill was too much for Tigre to cover, and he had just witnessed Glen Elg win $500,000 over a lottery ticket.

This was the motive for Tigre to discreetly poison Elg's coffee, leading to a quick death.
9. He murdered Bruce Goodman and Neil Marshall. As the Chief of Police, even The Judge is stunned and saddened to rule him Guilty at the very end. But who is it?

Answer: Damon Gant

Gant's actions caused an unquantifiable amount of harm to the lives of many, not even considering those he murdered. In framing Miles Edgeworth for killing his own father, even Miles Edgeworth himself was convinced he had done the deed - a trauma-inducing distinction after what was the tragic death of his own father. Gant also had Lana Skye blackmailed to the point of having her attempt to confess to doing Gant's own crime of murdering Bruce Goodman.
10. She ends up taking up the mantle of a "main villain" throughout all four episodes of "Trials & Tribulations". She impersonated her sister, stole a $2 million artifact, was sentenced to death and tried to have Maya Fey killed as a measure of "revenge." Who is this?

Answer: Dahlia Hawthorne

Dahlia is the closest thing to a brand-name antagonist that the trilogy ever sees, unless you count one of the prosecutors Phoenix frequently faces off with. Unlike the attorneys in this game, Dahlia is truly sinister and evil. She pretended to be romantically involved with Phoenix Wright so she could use him as a means to hide the poison she used to kill Diego Armando.

After she attempted to get the poison back from Phoenix, he refused to return it, so she had planned to kill him. Instead, she murdered Doug Swallow after it seemed he was catching on to her scheming.

She later tried to blame Phoenix for it in court before she was discovered to have been the true culprit. This is when she received a death sentence and was banished to the spirit world, where she plotted to take vengeance against Mia Fey for being the attorney responsible for getting her this sentence.
11. One of numerous attorneys Phoenix Wright would face off against. He takes things outside the courtroom and uses a taser to incapacitate Phoenix. He then wrote a letter to Yanni Yogi with instructions on how to carry out a different murder. Later, this man's daughter would become a main character as an opposing attorney to Phoenix. Who is this?

Answer: Manfred von Karma

As it turns out, von Karma is directly responsible for having murdered Gregory Edgeworth. When meeting Phoenix inside the police station's case storage room, von Karma tases Phoenix so he can steal what Phoenix has. How he pulls this off inside of a police station with no repercussions is mind boggling.
12. The very first killer Phoenix Wright would ever catch in his entire career. This man lied about being a newspaper salesman and accused Larry Butz of killing Cindy Stone. Who is it?

Answer: Frank Sahwit

You never forget the first, do you? Sahwit was the first non-defendant to take the stand against a client of Phoenix's, and he was the first culprit Phoenix pinned a murder on.

While Franziska von Karma and Prosecutor Godot are well known for attacking Phoenix with something in court, it was also Sahwit who did this for the first time as well. When his guilt was thoroughly proven, he proceeded to take off and throw his toupee straight at Phoenix.
13. After her sister died, she got major reconstructive surgery on her face to cause her to closely resemble her late sibling. Afterward, she staged an ambush on a spirit channeling session and killed Dr Turner Grey at the Kurain Village. Who is it?

Answer: Mimi Miney

Ini Miney died in a car accident about a year prior to the events of this case. Mimi Miney escaped, but her face was so thoroughly damaged from the accident that she was practically unrecognizable. As the nurse whose mistake led to the death of fourteen, Mimi Miney had a clear motive for wanting to shed her identity in favor of someone else's.

The circumstances as they were made the otherwise totally absurd idea of impersonating her sister seem somewhat feasible.
14. While Mia Fey was defending Terry Fawles, this man abruptly killed Fawles right in the middle of the courtroom. He would never go on to stand trial for this crime, either. Who is it?

Answer: Terry Fawles

Terry Fawles ingested a small flask filled with poison, causing him to die almost immediately. This came at a poor moment, as Mia Fey was practically on the verge of successfully getting him a Not Guilty verdict for the death of Valerie Hawthorne.
15. This man killed Robert Hammond. After doing so as he was instructed, he was able to convincingly pin the blame on Miles Edgeworth. Who killed Robert Hammond?

Answer: Yanni Yogi

Yanni Yogi pretended to be a helpless, senile old man for most of this game. The act fell apart, however, when Yogi's guilt was essentially confirmed and he stopped pretending to be senile.
