Who was the final member Kwame picked to be on his team?

From Quiz "The Apprentice"

The Apprentice Trivia Questions

1. During the teams' first task, what did they need to sell on the streets of New York City?

From Quiz
"The Apprentice" (US) - Season 1

Answer: Lemonade

For their first task, the sixteen candidates vying to become Donald Trump's apprentice split into two teams, Versacorp for the men and Protege for the women, and hit the streets with $250 seed money to sell lemonade to earn a profit. Whichever team could earn the most money would be able to save themselves from facing Mr. Trump in the boardroom. While Troy, the project manager for the men, was unable to pull through a victory, Ereka (of Protege) ended up bringing the women a win by setting up in a better location. Although Troy's leadership was called into question, David became the first fired after admitting a lack of interest and finesse in sales.

2. Who were the three team members that Bill selected to be on his team for the final task at the lavish golf tournament?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" Season 1

Answer: Katrina, Amy, and Nick

When it got down to Bill and Kwame, the final two, Mr. Trump brought back in the last six contestants to help these two with the final task. Kwame chose Troy, Omarosa, and Heidi to be on his team.

3. Which contestant was a copier salesman?

From Quiz The Apprentice

Answer: Nick

His salary was based completely on commission.

4. At the beginning of the show, how many original contestants were there?

From Quiz Donald Trump's Search For 'The Apprentice'!

Answer: 16

There were 8 men - Jason Curis, David Gould, Bowie Hogg, Kwame Jackson, Troy McClain, Bill Rancic, Sam Solovey, and Nick Warnock. There were also 8 women - Heidi Bressler, Katrina Campins, Jessie Connors, Kristi Frank, Amy Henry, Tammy Lee, Omarosa Stallworth, and Ereka Vetrini.

5. The second task of the competition featured the marketing of the Gillette Fusion razor. What keyword did the Gold Rush team use, pushing them to victory?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 5

Answer: Closer

Heading into task two, teams were required to hit the streets with an effective campaign for Gillette Fusion razors involving text messages-- the more people they could get to text their keyword to a specific phone number, the closer they'd be to winning. Gold Rush won using the word 'Closer' (for a closer shave) with 683 messages while Synergy failed the task, taking in only 458 messages with 'Blade5', partly because they started at a substantially later time and dressed poorly for the occasion. Because the task was such a failure, Trump fired two people in the boardroom, the first being Stacy, who's demeanor in the boardroom and decision to hold the event in a poor location sealed her fate, and the second being project manager Pepi for failing the task.

6. In the second week, teams worked on ad campaigns for which car manufacturer?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 4

Answer: Lamborghini

For their second challenge, the two teams were asked to meet with the marketing team of Lamborghini to create an upscale commercial and print campaign. The women of Capital Edge ended up making the right campaign, creating a series of ads directed at the emotions felt by Lamborghini owners and the passion for the brand. Excel failed to attract the executives with their ambiguous ads, some of which may have alienated certain demographics. In the boardroom, Chris was fired for his poor leadership and his decision to bring only Markus back into the boardroom, a choice Trump said was a poor sign. For winning the task, the women of Capital Edge ended up taking a trip to play hockey with the New York Islanders. During this reward, Rebecca broke her ankle but chose to remain in the competition.

7. Which candidate quit before the third task?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 3

Answer: Verna

In the second task, a motel refurbishment on the Jersey Shore, Verna, one of the members of Magna, decided that the pressure was too much to handle. She nearly walked out on the task but instead waited until after the team won. She left before task three was announced to become the first candidate to ever leave the show in any season. The third task of the season involved promotional campaigns for Nestle to promote their coffee brands on the streets of New York City. Magna lost this task as well, and when Danny was fired after the task (because he opted to bring an exempted candidate back to the boardroom despite their immunity) Magna was down two members.

8. For their second task, teams needed to create new ice cream flavors and sell them in the city. Mosaic won with which flavour?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 2

Answer: Doughnut

In their second week the two teams were tasked with creating a new ice cream flavor with Ciao Bella gelato and marketing the product to sell it for one day. Mosaic created an ice cream with doughnuts and won the task by selling it in Times Square with the promise of donating some proceeds to charity. Kelly won an exemption as a result. Apex lost the task with their red velvet flavour ice cream, selling less than the other team. Ivana, the project manager, was accused of having a total lack of control and she brought Stacie J. and Jennifer C. back to the boardroom. None of them were fired-- Bradford ended up impulsively giving up his exemption and Trump saw this as a horrible move which could have major implications if exercised in a high-pressure business situation. He was fired.

9. Which person fell asleep during the advertising campaign for the Marquee Jet card?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" Season 1

Answer: Sam

Jason was the project manager for this task. He brought Sam into the boardroom with him, but because he failed to get to know the client he was fired by Mr. Trump.

10. Who came up with the team name "Protege"?

From Quiz The Apprentice

Answer: Ereka

Ereka was made Project Manager for the first task since she came up with the team name.

11. What are the names of the man and woman who assist Donald Trump in finding the 'Apprentice'?

From Quiz Donald Trump's Search For 'The Apprentice'!

Answer: George and Carolyn

George Ross is Trump's Excutive Vice President and Senior Counsel, while Carolyn Kepcher is one of Trump's Chief Operating Officers.

12. On week three, two different candidates did not participate in the task. Why was this?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 5

Answer: They were observing a religious holiday

Week three brought the teams to General Motors where they needed to create corporate retreats from the ground up to promote the Chevy Tahoe to salespeople. Synergy, led by Andrea, won the task by presenting their customers with a retreat framed around different outdoor sports, building around the rugged outdoor style of the vehicle. Gold Rush failed the task due to poor concepts including a horse and buggy ride. Project manager Theresa was fired on account of this and poor boardroom decisions. Lee and Dan opted not to participate in the task, instead deciding to celebrate Rosh Hashannah. Donald Trump allowed this; his adviser, George Ross, was absent for the same reason. Lee later observed Yom Kippur during week six.

13. The fourth week of the competition forced teams to create new mascots for Dairy Queen. Excel created a genie while the women of Capital Edge created a creature known by what name?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 4

Answer: Zippy

Both teams not only needed to create a mascot for Dairy Queen, but construct a mascot outfit to be worn by one of the candidates from each group. The men won with their costume, Ginny the Genie, which hit most of the target demographics and featured the DQ logo. Their reward was a trip to the ballpark to play with the New York Mets; Clay received unanimous immunity. Excel, once again, lost the task by creating Zippy, a confusing character aimed at kids with virtually no visual ties to the brand. When in front of Trump, Toral was fired without the need for a final boardroom because of her failure to step up to any task and for her excuses.

14. In their third challenge, the two teams needed to create a promotional party for which new flavour of Crest toothpaste?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 2

Answer: Vanilla Mint

Apex and Mosaic met with representatives of Proctor and Gamble to promote Crest's Vanilla Mint flavour however they decided to. To accomplish this, they could spend $50,000 to their liking and whichever team had a more successful launch (in the company's eyes) would win the task. Although the women of Apex had a celebrity endorsement for their promotion and Mosaic went $5,000 overbudget, it was Apex who lost. During the boardroom, the entire team was called back after being sent to the suite to discuss Stacie J.'s personality. After concerns regarding her state of mind, Trump fired her with the entire team present.

15. In their fourth challenge, the teams tried to maximize sales for which restaurant chain?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 1

Answer: Planet Hollywood

In their fourth task the men and the women worked on consecutive nights to collect more sales over the previous year at the Times Square Planet Hollywood location. For the fourth consecutive time, the women of Protege won the challenge by earning 31% more over the previous year (while the men took in an additional 7%). The women focused much of their sales in the bar, selling products at a faster rate using sex appeal and capitalizing on high mark-up. The men bickered over ethics when project manager Kwame sat at an autograph table and attempted to sell merchandise with his name signed on it. Despite Kwame's loss as the team leader, it was Bowie who was fired. After this, the men and women had their teams switched up.

16. In the season finale, which contestant revealed that she and her husband were expecting a baby?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" Season 1

Answer: Tammy

Tammy tried to tell more about her pregnancy but she was cut off by Mr. Trump asking someone else a question.

17. The candidates were asked to sell what product on their first day?

From Quiz Donald Trump's Search For 'The Apprentice'!

Answer: lemonade

The women's team won, so the guys had to face the board room!

18. For their fifth week, teams worked with Sony Pictures to create a promotional float for what 2005 sci-fi movie?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 4

Answer: Zathura

Beginning task five, Trump asked the women of Capital Edge to permanently add one of the men of Excel to their team; they chose Randal. Despite this, they lost the task, requiring that each team create a parade float promoting "Zathura", a film directed by Jon Favreau for Sony Pictures. The guys, led by Brian (who won exemption), pulled off a float that got the name out to the audience while the women (led by Jennifer M.) made a lesser-quality product and, on many occasions, mispronounced the name of the movie. In the boardroom Kristi was fired, making her the third consecutive non-project manager to go.

19. For their task in week six, teams needed to commission a piece of graffiti in New York City promoting what PlayStation 2 video game release?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 3

Answer: Gran Turismo 4

Starting week six, Magna and Net Worth met with representatives from Sony PlayStation to receive their task. This time they would need to work in Harlem with graffiti artists to cover a wall with a promotion for "Gran Turismo 4", a racing game for the console. Magna won the task by incorporating important elements from the game into their art (including the rating and in-game locations). Net Worth failed to win the task mainly because of project manager Tara's decision to appeal more to her view of the community rather than promote the game. Tara ended up getting fired because she omitted marketing from a task dedicated entirely to effective marketing.

20. What type of product did Bill sell successfully in his own online business?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" Season 1

Answer: Cigars

Bill successfully started up his own internet site and sold cigars. He will continue with this business on the side during his employment with Mr. Trump.

21. Who was fired in the first episode?

From Quiz The Apprentice

Answer: David

Mr. Trump felt that he didn't contribute much.

22. Who was the first person fired?

From Quiz Donald Trump's Search For 'The Apprentice'!

Answer: David

Jason was fired in the second week, and Sam was fired in the third week.

23. In week six, Donald Trump claimed that his favourite burgers came from which restaurant, also the sponsor for the task completed by the remaining candidates?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 5

Answer: Arby's

In week six, both teams were required to create a jingle promoting the new Chicken Naturals line-up at Arby's. Because the restaurant chain planned to branch out from their tendency to be known for steak burgers, it was important that the teams make note of the broad menu items being added to the menu. Synergy won the task, mainly because Gold Rush failed to feature the new Chicken Naturals. They were rewarded with a six-course truffle-inspired meal, possibly the most expensive they would ever eat...each meal cost approximately $4,000. It was at this point that Trump said it was second only to Arby's. Of course. In the boardroom, Bryce was fired because he neglected to return to the boardroom with those responsible for the failing jingle and because he was nearly a half-hour late for their original meeting with the Arby's executives.

24. In week six, teams worked to promote different sports with Dick's Sporting Goods. Excel lost, but how many candidates were fired?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 4

Answer: Four

In the largest firing in the show's history to date, Trump ousted four different people for their failure. For the task, the teams needed to market and promote different sports at Dick's Sporting Goods. Capital Edge won (their first task in four boardrooms, and partially because of a corporate reshuffling) and took a reward to Montauk-- Alla received exemption for her approach to golf promotion; they boosted sales by 74%. Excel lost while promoting baseball and four members of the group were fired because of their colossal loss (they actually went down in sales 34% over the previous year). Project manager Josh was let go for an inability to lead, Jennifer M. was fired for her sales problems throughout the task, James was fired for his decision to remove sales floor space for a batting cage, and Mark was let go for an inability to sell anything whatsoever. This brought Excel to a meager three members versus Capital Edge's six.

25. In task eight, the two teams worked with Deutsch Advertising to help recruit for the NYPD. Which candidate was eliminated in an unorthodox boardroom?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 2

Answer: Elizabeth

For this task, the teams encountered Donny Deutsch (who worked as the ad executive in charge of the Marquis Jet Card in season one) and were told that they would create two print ads and a video ad for NYPD recruitment. Andy led his team to victory with an emotional ad while Elizabeth and Apex headed to the boardroom with a fear-driven recruitment ad. In the boardroom her team criticized her indecisiveness and problems as a leader. Rather than allow her to bring two people back to the boardroom with her, Trump fired her immediately, without question.

26. In week eight, the two teams needed to sell as much of Trump's new bottled water as possible. What was the name of this product?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 1

Answer: Trump Ice

The goal for both teams was to simply sell as much as possible in two days so as to beat the other team in total profits. Because Protege was able to secure two distributors and organize a replenishment system rather than sell small amounts to consumers with little room in their storerooms, they were able to defeat Versacorp quite easily. Ereka was accused of playing too emotional a game in the boardroom by saving her friend from facing Trump. This coupled with a lack of reasoning as to why she should be spared ended up making her the fourth consecutive female candidate eliminated from the game, evening the genders on the playing field.

27. What are the names of Mr. Trump's assistants?

From Quiz The Apprentice

Answer: George and Carolyn

Sometimes George is on business meetings and another one of Mr. Trump's assistants will fill in for George.

28. The task for week seven involved promoting and teaching specific classes at the Learning Annex. Capital Edge lost, but what was the name of their class?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 4

Answer: Sex in the Workplace

After the catastrophic loss in week six, Excel took Randal back to their team as the project manager and he led them to victory with their Learning Annex presentation for a class called 'Stand Out to Hit the Mark'. The team ended up winning a shopping spree at Michael Kors and he received a second exemption. Capital Edge ended up selecting a class called 'Sex in the Workplace' as their class but failed on many accounts, particularly in Clay's offensive comments during the presentation and Markus' lack of input. In the boardroom, Markus was fired by Trump because of what seemed to be a lack of motivation over several tasks.

29. In week nine, after completing their task for Home Depot, which candidate was fired based on a single comment made in the boardroom?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 3

Answer: Erin

In week nine, the two teams needed to create a workshop at a Home Depot location and teach customers how to create a product in-store. Craig, leading Magna, won with a simple multi-purpose box that his team originally considered to be a bad idea. Because the box was able to be worked on by parents and painted by kids as a toy box, the executives in Home Depot considered the approach to be inspirational. Net Worth went to the boardroom after basing a workshop on a moveable kitchen island. Although Angie was close to being fired for failing as a project manager, a small comment about listening to the advisers and wink from Erin forced Trump that she was too much of a 'smart guy' and needed to be fired.

30. In week nine, the teams needed to sell as much art from a specific artist as they could to earn the most money. When Protege lost, which dramatic contestant was sent home?

From Quiz "The Apprentice" (US) - Season 1

Answer: Omarosa

While Nick, the project manager for Versacorp, opted to go against his team and pick an artist he felt would yield the most profit, Kwame and Protege went for a lesser-known artist whose works were less accessible. After losing the challenge by over $12,000 (the widest margin yet), Protege went to the boardroom where Omarosa, asked to be part of the three who would be up for elimination, reentered the boardroom before she was asked to to plea for her spot in the competition. Trump fired her soon after for a streak of excuses, many of which revolved around a supposed head injury sustained two weeks earlier.
