1. "Partners in Crime" - The Doctor reunites with Donna Noble as both investigate the appearance of what unique alien lifeform?

Donna and the Doctor reunite one year after their adventure together on her wedding day, but they only do so after running into each other at Adipose Industries in London, a short time before the Adipose pills are set to launch worldwide. The pills, as it turns out, promise fat loss, but the users don't realize this is literal; Donna witnesses this first-hand when a lead literally melts into little Adipose. The two of them discover that the perpetrator is none other than the C.E.O. of Adipose Industries, Miss Foster, who is actually a nanny for a race of alien beings asked to nurture their young and return them to their home planet. To do so, of course, means harvesting them. In the end, Miss Foster is left to die by her employers while Donna decides to bring her things and head off with the Doctor, leaving her life behind.

The Doctor and Donna are on the planet of Shan Shen, which resembles a Chinese marketplace. They visited a snowy planet in "Planet of the Ood" and ancient Pompeii (on Volcano Day) in "The Fires of Pompeii." Donna visits a fortune teller, who makes one minor change in Donna's personal history. The rest of the episode is set on Earth, and focuses on the implications of that minor change.

Wilf, Donna's grandfather, acted as the Doctor's companion in this final outing for this particular Doctor. Wilf knew that the Doctor had been told about his upcoming death with the ominous words "he will knock four times". After disaster had seemingly been averted, Wilf found himself trapped and knocked four times for the Doctor to let him out. The only way for the Doctor to free Wilf was to expose himself to the dangerous radiation that would have killed Wilf. Wanting the Doctor to live, Wilf told the Doctor to abandon him, but the Doctor changed places anyway.

The Doctor and Agatha went through all the characters, with Donna eating avidly (just as if she was at the cinema with popcorn!) and exclaiming at intervals "So he/she's the murderer?"

Surprisingly, Mickey revealed to the audience that he and Martha were now married. Freema Agyeman, who played Martha, was listed as Martha Jones-Smith in the credits. They only see the Doctor from a distance before he moved on to see others.

All the others are made up. This is the first time we find out that the Wasp is actually Lady Eddison's love-child. As the Doctor points out in a massive understatement "This was not a normal pregnancy".

'The Labours of Hercules' was first published in 1947, and as "The Unicorn and the Wasp" was set in 1926, Lady Eddison could not have read it. Lady Eddison would have read 'The Mysterious Affair at Styles', 'The Secret Adversary', 'The Murder on the Links', 'The Man in the Brown Suit', 'Poirot Investigates' and 'The Secret of Chimneys'. Lady Clemency Eddison was played by the lovely actress Felicity Kendall.

Donna and the Doctor head into the future for their next adventure, this time ending up two thousand years ahead of Donna's present day to randomly visit the Ood-Sphere in a time when Ood Operations tries to sell their servant units to humankind. Although the Ood seem happy to serve, it becomes apparent that the unprocessed Ood in the factories are simply enslaved, and Donna and the Doctor need to save themselves at the same time they try to save the Ood who, mysteriously, begin to go rabid and exhibit red eyes as a symptom. Both find the Ood Brain and, ultimately, stop the head of the racket when he too is transformed into an Ood. The duo leaves as heroes of the Ood race, immortalized in song.

The Doctor fought the Racnoss, a spider-like race, underneath the Thames River. He drowned them. In the original time-line, Donna was able to convince him to leave. In the new time-line, the Doctor is drowned before he is able to regenerate. The Judoon are a rhino-like species that serves as law enforcement officers. They appear in "Smith and Jones" tracking a fugitive alien on the Moon. The Daleks are one of the Doctor's oldest enemies. Virtually every version of the Doctor has fought the Daleks. The Cybermen are also a long-time enemy of the Doctor. He fought both in "Doomsday," which introduced Catherine Tate as Donna Noble.

She had traveled with the third and fourth incarnations of the Doctor. She came in contact with other Doctors and was the main character in a spin-off, "The Sarah Jane Chronicles".

Returning to Earth they discover that dozens of people all died at the same second, and an elite task force known as U.N.I.T. is on the case, taking over the Atmos factory on a lead and finding that the units, attached to many cars throughout the world, cut carbon emissions 100%. Unfortunately, the units are also responsible for being the instruments of a more nefarious plan brought about by the Sontaran forces in an attempt to use Earth as a breeding ground for their race of soldiers. Martha is kidnapped and cloned while Donna and the Doctor set out to stop the war-driven race, ultimately saving the day as a team and setting fire to the atmosphere to rid it of poison gases. When they hop back into the TARDIS for a quick rendezvous, the three (the Doctor, Donna, and Martha) are all taken, against their will, somewhere in the future.

Sarah Jane Smith, who had her own spin-off show with "The Sara Jane Adventures" reportedly stopped the Plasmavore from killing half the people on Earth. Unfortunately, she died along with Martha Jones before the hospital could be returned to Earth. Rose Tyler makes several appearances in "Turn Left" and helps Donna travel in time to set the timeline back to its original state. Astrid was killed in "Voyage of the Damned" when she killed Max Capricorn; presumably she would have been killed when the ship crashed in the alternate timeline.

They were only able to talk for a short time as she explained that they were in her Library when they lost the connection. The girl with no name attempted to bring them back by pressing buttons on her remote. When she discovered the buttons behind the remote's sliding cover, she started to throw books about the Library. One button opened a mysterious door that only Miss Evangelista noticed.

The Doctor met Alonso on a space traveling Titanic doomed to hit the Earth. Fortunately Alonso kept the ship afloat long enough for the Doctor to save it. Plus, the Doctor was able to fulfill his dream of saying, "allons-y, Alonso". Captain Jack, always the flirt with pretty much anything, was quite happy and gave the Doctor a cheerful and praising salute. The scene occurred in a bar which featured other creatures from the Doctor's journey, including a Judoon, an Adipose, a Hath, and others. In the background, the song "My Angel Put the Devil in Me" sung by Yamit Mamo can be heard. It was also played in the episode "Daleks in Manhattan".
