Airman, ironically weak to your base weapon, the Mega Buster, is considered to be a large challenge to defeat.

Since Heat Man is a Fire type, Bubble Lead works great against him. Bubble Lead is a water type weapon that is obtained from Bubble Man.

There are five orbs that you must destroy. You must use the Crash Bombs to destroy them. You cannot waste a single Crash Bomb, as all of them are required. You will need to use Item 1 and 3 in order to conserve your Crash Bombs.

Energy Tanks refill your health completely in this game. Once you have collected 4, you cannot carry any more. You can keep collecting them, but its a waste to do it.

Most of the time, if a boss is hit with its own weapon, the boss either regains health or deflects the shot. The only way to face Metalman with the Metal Blade is to beat the game all the way up to the Wily Capsules.

Thankfully, unlike the first game, when you kill the robot masters they give you energy. That way, you don't have to fight all eight robot masters with only one health meter.

You can shoot Metal blade in all directions. It is very effective because when an enemy is above or below you, you can hit them with this weapon.

The second set are the bosses inside Dr. Wily's Castle, which are the Dragon, Wall Robot, Guts Dozer, Turrets, the first set of 8 bosses repeated, Dr. Wily, and Alien Dr. Wily.

Guts Man is the mostly frequently referenced Robot Master in the original series. In "Mega Man II", his likeness appears as a giant boss known as the Guts Dozer. In the original "Mega Man" his statues appear on Stage 4 of Dr. Wily's Castle.

Why Capcom put this into the game I'm not sure. However, if you press and hold the "A" button and press "Start", the stars transform into birds. Pretty useless trick. Nintendo Power did feature the trick in their "Classified Information" column back in the early 1990s.

The Time Stopper is very useful against Quick Man. If you use it against him, he is stopped and he starts losing life. When your weapon runs out of ammo, he already lost half of his life. This makes him easier to kill.
