Given enough ammo, a player can eliminate the horde at night from the bridge, while it is searching for food in the river. For some reason, the horde can be shot at and won't put up any resistance as long as the player stays far enough. There is a vantage point on a hill, just off the bridge, which allows to do the same during day time.

Rikki says fishing is her favorite thing to do and invites Lisa to fish with her. Interestingly, though, Rikki is never seen fishing during the entire game.

One injector in each of the six regions has to be obtained via a nitrous oxide propelled jump. When health points are maxed out, Deek can literally take two combat shotgun blasts at close range and still do all the same things he does when he is fully healthy. For those players who appreciate realism though, it's a negative about this game.

Deacon can develop 45 skills. The game becomes much easier, even at the hardest levels, as skills are developed. Interestingly, a player can acquire more than 45 skill points but it's hard to say what they can be used for.

Carlos aka Jesse has a big burn mark on his back, particularly visible in certain cutscenes.
