1. What is the name of a NERO scientist mauled to death by the Reacher tracked by NERO?

Answer: Cooper

Deek manages to find Cooper alive, but not for long. The encounter provides a rare insight into the personal lives of NERO staff.

2. Which of these hordes is NOT in the Belknap region?

Answer: Horse Lake Horde

Horse Lake Horde is a small horde in the Cascades region. It tends to appear at a later stage in the game and hibernates in the cave not far from the Death Train Horde.

3. What team jersey is Skizzo wearing?

Answer: Knights

Skizzo is wearing a "Knights" basketball jersey under his puff jacket. While there are teams called "Knights" in real life, none match Skizzo's jersey design.

4. What price per gallon of premium gas is listed on the sign at the Peltro gas station closest to the Lost Lake encampment?

Answer: $4.00

Lost Lake's gas stations, while decayed without maintenance, have retained original signs. Prices in Highway 97 and Crater Lake regions have been changed by hand to exorbitant as one would expect in an apocalyptic scenario when everyone is trying to escape by motor vehicle.

5. How many NERO injectors can only be reached via a nitrous oxide propelled jump?

Answer: Six

One injector in each of the six regions has to be obtained via a nitrous oxide propelled jump. When health points are maxed out, Deek can literally take two combat shotgun blasts at close range and still do all the same things he does when he is fully healthy. For those players who appreciate realism though, it's a negative about this game.

6. What item can be crafted using an airbag, a spark igniter, a box of nails and scrap?

Answer: Remote bomb

Proximity mines cannot be crafted, but only found in certain locations. A pipe bomb requires a small pipe while a proximity bomb needs a can among other things.

7. How many camp credits can Deacon earn at Tuck's camp for each rescued person that he sends over (excluding story and bounty jobs)?

Answer: 200

Tuck pays relatively well for people who are brought in. It makes sense as she is notorious for being a slave owner and seeks to increase her workforce. However, it is the only camp that offers Deacon no experience points for people.

8. In a flashback, Sarah teaches Deacon to gather lavender near what lake?

Answer: Patjens Lake

In that particular flashback Deacon and Sarah are walking along the shore of Patjens Lake. It can be easily recognized by the concrete bridge, the public bathroom and the cave that is going to be the future hibernation site of the Patjens Lake Horde.

9. What's the maximum skill level that Deacon can achieve in the game?

Answer: 45

Deacon can develop 45 skills. The game becomes much easier, even at the hardest levels, as skills are developed. Interestingly, a player can acquire more than 45 skill points but it's hard to say what they can be used for.

10. Which of these herbiology collectibles can be found in Iron Butte?

Answer: Larch Bolete

Iron Butte is the easiest region when it comes to herbiology due to its small size and limited number of plants required to be found. At the same time, while collecting herbiology items helps achieve a challenging 100% game completion level and, perhaps, increase one's knowledge of local flora, there is surprisingly (and disappointingly) no Steam or in-game reward associated with it.
