These characters appeared in 'The Wind in the Willows'. Kenneth Grahame was born 8 March, 1859 in Edinburgh and died at Pangbourne, Berkshire on 6 July 1932. Milne wrote about Christopher Robin and his toy-animals Pooh Bear, Piglet and Eeyore in books such as 'Winnie-the-Pooh' (1926).
