TENDER is a very flexible word. It can mean 'young', as in 'tender age', 'easy to eat', 'give' (tender your resignation), a railway carriage, and even 'painful' (my arm was tender from my Covid jab.) A tender is also a small boat, usually carried by a large boat.

There are another couple of anagrams- 'entera' is the plural of the elementary canal in an embryo, and 'rateen' is a type of cloth.
