In 1979, Chris Evert Lloyd was ranked number one in Women's Tennis. She was defeated by 16 year old Tracy Austin. In 1995, she was the fourth player unanimously elected to the Tennis Hall of Fame. Chris was married to John Lloyd and divorced in 1987 and married Andy Mills in 1988, with whom she had the following children: Alexander, Nicholas and Colton. Chris was born December 21, 1954 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Answer: Lillian Greene-Chamberlain

Lillian Greene-Chamberlain was the first African-American woman distance runner in international events. This was before it became an Olympic event. She later went on to earn her Ph.D. or doctorate degree.
