Answer: The Purple Rose of Cairo

Mia Farrow played the part of Cecilia, a waitress from New Jersey during the Great Depression. Cecilia tried to escape the worries of her everyday life by going to see the film "The Purple Rose of Cairo". She did this several times before one of the characters in the film, Tom Baxter (played by Jeff Daniels), noticed her and broke through the screen. This caused Gil Shepherd, the actor that played Tom Baxter, to come and try and coax Tom back into the movie screen.

"The Purple Rose of Cairo" won several awards, including the BAFTA Award for Best Film and Best Screenplay in 1986. It was also nominated for an Oscar.
2. Who sang the song "Purple People Eater" which reached the number one spot on Billboard's pop chart in 1958?

Answer: Sheb Wooley

"Purple People Eater" was a novelty song about a flying purple people eater that ate purple people and came to land to be in a rock and roll band. In 1988, a film was based on the character and Sheb Wooley actually participated in the movie as the character Harry Skinner.

Sheb Wooley was born in Oklahoma in 1921 and he died in September of 2003. He appeared in many western films and series, such as "High Noon", "Rawhide", "The Outlaw Josey Wales", "The Adventures of Kit Carson", and "Terror in a Texas Town". He was also known as a country artist and appeared regularly on "Hee Haw".

Once he relinquished his control of her, she left and later gave birth to a daughter, Kara.

The original game for PlayStation was called "Spyro the Dragon". Spyro advanced through different levels to find the trapped dragons as well as collect treasure and dragon eggs. He would travel from one world to the next in a hot air balloon and would access the different levels of each world through portals. In the last level of the game, he fought and defeated Gnasty Gnorc.

Since then, there have been many games in the Spyro series on various consoles. Some of the games include: "Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage", "Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly", "The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning", and "Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure".
