1. What coaster did Superman-Ultimate Flight replace?

Answer: Shockwave

Shockwave opened in 1988 and closed in 2004. Shockwave was a coaster that many were upset to see dismantled as it had seven inversions-the most in the park. It had seen its time and was known as a "headbanger".
2. What are the names of the two wooden coasters in the park?

Answer: American Eagle and Viper

The American Eagle is a dual racing coaster opened in 1981 that boasts a first drop of 147 feet. The red track runs forward and, for the more adventurous, the blue track now runs backwards. The Viper opened in 1995. It has a first drop of 80 feet and a top speed of 50 mph.
3. What coaster was replaced by Batman the Ride?

Answer: Tidal Wave

The Tidal Wave was a shuttle loop coaster that took off at high speeds through the loop and then backwards again. It was similar to Montezooma's Revenge in Knott's Berry Farm. Tidal Wave was dismantled in 1991 and Batman the Ride opened in 1992.
